Drain holes up means that dirt will fill the pipes. Drain holes down means the pipe will fill with water and not dirt. I am 100% on this.
I did what i was told and i put in cleanouts with the plan of blasting water through a few times a year. So i guess we will see what happens. There is atleast 12" of stone above the pipe so fingers crossed
I see pictures. But… I’m very disappointed with you. For a guy that chimes in about a beer radar going off on threads, I see no photos showing a beer with the background of your backyard in it. lol
I think I would have died if I drank and worked that hard haha
Classy
Thanks…getting there. A few thousand dollars at a time…sigh
I’m highly disappointed. Some of the best work comes from drinking. If anything, you forget the energy you have and go 10 fold. I know my bike riding tends to get me from a. to b. without thought of how hard I’m working to get there. lol
Good photos and well done!
Planted a $ tree and it finally started to grow.
Next year - New Deck, more landscape beds, hopefully enjoying the space.
Nice! Who put your pool in?
It was here when I bought the house. Alden pools did it in the 90’s
They are good to deal with. My Uncle works for Colleys if you are interested.
Update: Since my TV showed up today and spring is near (I Hope)
Ordered a bunch more patio furniture from Arthurs in OP. I have a sad addiction to spending money on patio furniture for a 3 month season in WNY
Built a deck last fall with my bro in law. Came out pretty good.
Pics
Very nice
What deck material is that?
Humpback whale bones.
Fiberon - Picked it because I liked the color and it also has alot of “grit” in it which made me more comfortable with the massive amount of children my friends have had in recent years running around with pool water etc.

I tried to go more eco friendly on this project. No whale bones were used in the making of this deck.
I ask because I’m debating either a major cleaning/refinishing on my deck or a tear-off and rebuilding with composite. Every time I start researching a brand of composite I find all these complaints about warping and fading.
My parents have Trex…it warped and it sucks.
The fiberon is a composite with a pvc wrap which is a hybrid of the composite/vinyl deck systems. The rail system is full vinyl.
It has survived the 6’ of snow with no issue, but we will see what the hot summer may do to it, however most of my deck is not in direct sunlight.
I just went and looked and I have the Paramount series.
My brother used that Behr Deck Over stuff on his really old deck and it turned out good for him.
