Drew, is there anyway to possibly add more ABS? like double up for extra performance handling?
Eff that ABS shit is for FGGTS!!! Drew and I took this out for its maiden cruise after getting the NT01’s on the other night, all i can say is this shit is going to be absurd after stripping another 100lbs and a final tune.

Ok so I was just at pats shop for a bazzilion hours doing some snky not even on my car! Anyhow I brought my camera but the car was filthy. 
so I didn’t snag pics. I will probably be at the track Friday though!
I would love to come cruise with you roch guys. I am not tuned or have a clue how to drive this shit yet but im always down.

Trust me guys I am dying to get some pics as well. Maybe Thursday I can snap some better shots if I wash it real quick.
I pulled the tach apart. The gasket around the “Cruise” light was shot. Not that it mattered but I replaced that.
C1 and C5 were shot. I replaced them.
The pad connecting Pin 3 on VR1 was lifted. I did not notice this originally when I removed the bad caps. I may have contributed to the problem but it was definitely gone. I scraped the solder resist back and solder bus wire to it. It’s not going anywhere now. I called Pat and I will bring it back to him tonight. I’ll stick around while he installs it to make sure everything is working.

I hope to tie everything up on this thing tonight. Gonna fix the door handle/bumper clips/ tidy up the pcm wiring/ and mkae sure the fans work with the relay installed. She should be ready to rock very soon. Once it’s cleaned we will take some pictures. Cars get filthy in my shop due to the woodshop next door.
looks like the solder joints on ALL the diodes are bad also. Very nice car/setup!
Nope, they are just oxidized. As far as fillet size, wet-a-bility, and cleanliness they fail IPC-610 Class 3 standards…but they are fine for a RX7 Tach. Good eye to catch them though…:tup:
Never. I am a NA+Bottle guy always have been. Once I cook the stock bottom end maybe will build some big cube setup with a gang of spray but probably not. Depends on if it lets go before or after I buy another house really haha.
