LOL I am planning to build a setup that will be capable of some serious business. However at this time I am not sure a built motor is in the works for this winter. So I might be rocking a big turblowwww/low boost/stock motor for a lil while. But I for certain look forward to the comfort and street manners I am going to gain on a small cam turbo setup. I want to cruise the shit out of this thing next year.
I will be ordering a turbo sometime this week and the great turbociv is going to help me build the kit. Something capable of 800-900rwhp but like stated i will prob not utilize all of this next season but it will be there for the future.
Short list of whats going to happen this winter
Wiring redone and harness pruned
Painted engine bay!!! Can’t wait for this
Painted underside of car using a 3m undercoat/sound deadening product
some type of twin disk clutch setup
Turbo!
Finish interior 100%
Cruise!

I just need to do some research on these silly turbo thingys and figure what is needed to get these thing down the track 6-sp wise. Like having boost off the line and such. I will prob just use a 2-step I guess. I am eying up a very serious turbo right now but it might be overkill. I am making a few calls Monday and will prob place the order then.

you would be good to go with a 76-88mm. Don’t go smaller than that. Even if you can’t use it to it’s fullest potential. I would throw on an ST80 with a T-6 .96 exhaust housing and you will be posting up 8-second threads in no time :tup:

Good choice, that thing is gonna rip! I have some misc parts laying around that you might be able to use if you are building a kit… V bands, flanges, flex joints, etc…

Just looked in the garage… I have a 2.5" flex, T4 stainless flange, 2 complete 2.5" V-bands, and a bunch of v-rings without the clamp. 1-3" V-band, misc 3" alum tubing bends, couplers, and T-bolt clamps. I will throw everything in a box, you can have your pick. I am leaning toward a 4" cold side next year so I will have a lot of 3" Stuff laying around.
