im thinking that the radiator and accessories need to be in place before we go fabbing any kinda down pipe and charge piping.
Well duh you silly goose. I have a new smaller fluidyne rad that we are going to be using. We need to make mounts because how it was setup before will not work.
Going to pick up the new motor wed. I am going to try to have the motor in this weekend. However I am thinking of doing the rear gear now and having both front and rear subframe powdercoated now which could delay this.
I am doing a 3.27 rear gear.
Lots of really neat things are getting done this winter. I plan to make this car show worthy"nothing im interested in just want a car that clean."

Do you need the conversion harness to run this motor?
What do you mean? It is just the ls1 harness spliced to the FD harness. No intermediate harness that connects the two.

Getting started tonight on drivetrain removal. Deff in a groove with this car as this is day 4 of work maybe 16hrs MAX into the complete teardown.

So in 4 days entire drivetrain out, entire suspension out, entire harness out, almost entire interior out.

so why 3.27’s? didn’t you have 3.73’s in there? did you sell them?
Because this car is going to be in the neighborhood of 900hp…so it needs 3.27s. I have 4.10s in it. No way I could get down the 1/4 on 3.73s on that much power. 3.55s MAYBE but I’ll just play it safe.
What are you hoping to trap?

To elaborate I will start dialing the car in and getting comfortable with it on low boost so say 135ish to start and as it gets turned up the combo should be capable of 150+ especially if it ever sees an auto. This is a no nonsense build to say the least.
