Ahhh fresh into the build season and the tread as always is quickly turning into the you should do this you should do that. Save you breath please people. It is beyond annoying. If I wanted a 8 second drag car I would have it. That is NOT what I want. I want to build a stunningly clean example of a dope ass car. That is it. You all are very free to build yours how you see fit. Also Studderin i am building this with an auto in mind for the future…my cam-only with nitrous would not even be close. Being as your car is a one purpose machine I do not expect you to understand. I will be honest I want a garage ornament that i know i built more then anything else.
Bottom line I want a nice quiet turbo car. I get more excited over all of the finishing details I am putting into this car then the power any day of the week.
I want to be able to pop the hood and see an amazingly clean bay
I want a clean and comfortable interior
I want to be able to row gears when I am in the mood
I want a nice quiet car with a smooth idle that I will cruise around town in sometimes.
Notice a pattern?

LOL right haha. I hate to say it but I feel only some of the non racing oriented guys on here will really appreciate what I am building here. I plan for it to have the comfort and refinement of a factory car with the go pedal that means business! You can’t go this in depth into a build and only measure your goals in ET imo. I love drag racing but im just as happy in 10s as I would be 8s.

i like this. pretty much what ive been trying to do with my truck. except it has a very choppy idle and shakes the whole truck and is loud as fawk. lol.
are you keeping the interior for the most part stock?
Do you remember the pics from last season? They are in here somewhere. Hold on ill grab one. But yeah I am leaving it how it was, carpeting the one area that was unfinished, spraying in a layer of lizard skin sound deadener while everything is out and adding a 10pt cage. I don’t want one but i think it would be irresponsible to go as fast as I am going to without it. All the glossy looking stuff is carbon, seats and carpet are new. Interior is clean.

In all seriousness, are those seats OK safety-wise for running with cage/harnesses? I do see they have a reasonable place for the harnesses to run through the back.
