My s10 sounded so fucking mean when the power was down, but driving it at 40 - 50 mph, was unbearable at best, the super I’m going to get a ticket just wait drone, was rough.

Also to be clear I hope to have this car be a great DRIVER not any type of race car. This is why it has IRS and will run a full interior.
So I built a turbo setup since they are quieter and allow me to run a MUCH smaller camshaft to match the setup.
I am hoping for it to idle pretty smooth and have a nice growl for sure(its still a 418ci motor with 4"exhaust). I hope to be able to easily listen to music and converse with my passenger at highway speeds…However when I step on it I am sure it will sound like the apocalypse. Huge motor, huge turbo, open dump wg,4". So when I say quiet I just mean nice smooth idle and hopefully not too loud under normal driving.
that open dump wastegate will be pretty loud, and it’s usually pretty hard to keep the BOV quiet even if you’re driving pretty slow. That’s all I am saying. Definitely will be better than a lumpy cam car, considerably. I don’t blame you for putting a muffler on, just giving you are hard time. It’s nyspeed, we’re allowed to fuck with each other. no?

turbo system works the same, no? albeit a larger setup, I cannot see how the characteristics would be all that different.

Along the ideas of the hyrdodipping is powdercoated “image tattoos” - essentially a “printed” layer of powdercoat is put over the metal and then baked - the image transfers, looking painted, but it’s powdercoat

Usually I see one of those flex pipes incorporated into the crossover. Is that like a mass manufacturing thing to insure alignment vs custom fit kit so you don’t need one?
