Just thought i’d share my results/project with everyone here.
The 240km/h speedometer works and is accurate (swapped from a German cluster). Also did the whole aluminum bezel and blue hybrids thing.
For those considering the blue “Pacific Mall” hybrid bulbs, I love mine. They really do look neat at night.

Install was relatively easy, I did drop the steering column also. Did it alone. :x My fingers, lower back and neck ached from holding down the friggin’ steering column forcefully with one hand, and trying not to break plastic parts with the other. :lol: Wasn’t too bad though.
next time use a jack stand. Or just let that bitch hang.
He had to hold it -down-. It springs up by itself… esp if you only undo the top 2 bolts.

yea it doesnt look as bad as those who paint their bezel’s like blue or something though 
i think the silver bezle looks ugly other than that its nice
you shouldnt have to hold down the steering coloum… you lower the steering wheel all the way and you can undo the 2 bolts and if you undo all 4 you dont have to lower the wheel
the problem is that speedos are very inaccurate past 150
when my speedo hits the dash my car is only doing 182
when im at 100 im actually going like 95 it get progressivly more inaccurate as the speed rises.

LOL! As soon as I saw DTS in the thread, I was like, “oh no here it comes about the silver bezel…”! Hehe. Yeah it’s pushing it a little but hey I LIKE IT and i’m comfortable with who I am AND ISN’T THAT ALL THAT REALLY MATTERS IN THIS COLD WORLD??

And folks, DTS has what looks to be the white hybrids (I think…)…i’ll get some shots of the blue when I can.
That’s very nice. I don’t mind the silver, personally. I’d probably do without it but it adds a little detail, in my opinion. The night shot DTS posted looks really cool, too. Good job.

Why do you need a 240km/h cluster?
cause im getting rid of my digi speedo and HUD and this just came up.
i want a 240kmh cluster (or faster) cause my friend has a 1984 VW Jetta diesel which isnt even turbocharged and its speedo is faster than mine
180 kms is a joke for a 240sx, i wouldnt go that fast but christ, it can do it in 3rd gear!
how much were they anyhow
