SO my Clean ass American 240 sx got hit lightly about 1 month ago parked quietly out front of my bosses house.
Insurance covered it, $1000 to repair new bumper + BLEND.
I WAS PISSED BUT I COULD COPE SEEING AS THERE WAS NO FRAME TWIST.
1 and a half weeks ago, It got hit again parked in the same spot. AND GOT THROWN 25’ by another 18 year old female driving too Fast in the snow. Mind you this road has a curve on it but DAAMN.
Here are some before and afters.
RIP 95 american 240—NO RUST AT ALL

THE WHOLE REAR STRUT TOWER WAS CAVED IN ---- RIP my Clean S14
I would def pay the fee to keep the car don’t let the insurance take it/ wreck it, keep it fix it yourself and get the insurnace money its worth to throw back into it and create a sweet ride
If you had a supposedly rust free car from the States, why the hell would you have it outside in the winter? Store that shit in a heated garage for every winter of it’s entire life and it’ll stay rust free, keep driving it in the winter and you’ll wreck it. (Well now it’s wrecked, but whatever.)
the worst part about that… she bent your licence plate!
the s15 is possible to get into canada but you have to import it and the motor sepratly as a track chassis and a motor for a swap then put the motor back in here and licence it as a kit car you built yourself and then you get ontario vins to safty and such
Plz dun encourage this poor fellow to risk a massive amount of money. S15 is possible, but it’s also likely that they will catch on soon, and he’ll be left with a twenty thousand dollar paperweight. I looked into getting an R34 GT-R for some time, and came to the conclusion that the government is NOT as stupid as we think them to be, and that it isn’t worth risking completely losing the car and maybe even paying various fines.
the government won realise a thing. its listed as a kit car and thats it. and you can bring it over in one piece as a kit car. but riskier. but its very easy to do that. an s14 that was brought in like that just sold over the summer. but you also wont get an s15 for 6 grand. 6 grand will barely buy you a nice s13 silvia.
I never got the whole “no money for a beater” excuse. I bought a 96 Sunfire for 450$, I bought a 93 Tempo for 400$, I bought a 92 Tempo for 650$. It’s easy to find cheap cars, and they don’t need crazy amounts of repairs, besides, it’s a beater, you dont fix them, just wait until things start falling off the car before fixing them and when they do, just use duct tape and wire hangers and zip ties.
