how the hell did the pup get a hernia?

[LEFT]

He was born with it, very common its an umbilical hernia. He also had to get his one nut removed, it was in his abdomen still and didn’t drop yest so I git him neutered.

A little closer

:tup::tup:

I see you decided to leave that brick work exposed. That will look awesome when its all said and done. Good progress.

Little more today. Went a little overboard on the drywall screws but I had to.

wow, that is alot of screws… then alot of mud… then alot of sanding… and sanding.

Been slacking on this project for about the last 6 months. I finished my Deck, and almost done with my kitchen so I decided to get thi sshit done. Here are some pics of the last few weeks I have been working on this.

word… progress… how much time/money do you have invested into this project?

Nice… I HATE finishing drywall…

nice nice

Not sure, I think about $1900 or so, I still need carpet( which my good friend is doing cheap), I still need a little door for the closet, I still need Molding for the base, window molding, and countless other little things. Probably end up being another $1500 in shit to finish. I started around this time last year.

Your not the only one. The attic has such crazy angles that I have to fill some big voids with mud and tape. Lots of sanding to do on some parts.

have you figured out how much this project will boost the value of your house? i know generally the amount you spend while doing it yourself, doubles the value on the house, for that area.

not really sure, I’m really not worried about upping the value, I just like how it looks. if I get my money back for what I paid for it if I was to sell it then I would be happy. I have added a lot of value with a big deck, french doors, granite counters, finished attic, and next spring I will side it and toss on a new roof. I will also be doing the bathroom in the spring as well. I have put a lot into it and it should up the value but its buffalo.

the only way to find out is to have it appraised.

Looks like you had the same drywall finishing nightmare as I did. I am doing my bathroom right now, and trying to make the walls as easy as I can to drywall.

or wait till a neighbor with a similar house sells to see what it will really sell for.

X…

Not planning on selling it anytime soon, I want to get a 100 acres or so somewhere and keep the house until the neighborhood turns to shit. Then hopefully just get my money back.

I live in a strong Irish part of South Buffalo, so it should stay good for years to come.

sawsallll, contractor’s best friend

wow

looks good man
