Good work Shrives.
Nicely done
Looking much better  Love the way you can just swap parts from VW to VW of that generation-s to kind of create what you want out of OEM parts.

i was going to go a bilstein /eibach combo or possibly a cup kit route, but the adjustability is what i really wanted being that i change wheels up all the time and for the price, you can’t go wrong. I’ve read a lot of pretty good reviews on the vmaxx so far. It’s obviously not h&r quality, but its not shit either.
For $600 adjustable coilovers, you really can’t complain. Itll be interesting to see how it rides, although i could care less at this stage as it will be a sunday driver only…

Yesterday I…
-secured Ujoint and rest of steering column
-installed upper rad hose from a mkII gti non a/c non p/s
-h4 bulbs went in, turn signals wired up
-air horns mounted (still need to wire)
-cleaned up some of the wiring
Still need to do the following—
-Harness for ecu (Steve from autohaus will be bailing me out )
-set camber, get a proper alignment
-adjust suspension
-instal o2 sensor
- align shift linkage
DRIVE
Hoping all of this get completed by sunday. We shall see, its not too much left
