ed im on my fourth 240sx in order i have had 89 240sx, 87 supra turbo, 1990 240sx, 1993 240sx, and i currently own a 92 240sx,

i worked at evans race products for three years , worked at subaru for a year when i was still in high school, also i am a certified welder, oh yes and i have 3 years of automotive apprenticeship under my belt. but i dont know a single thing about cars , and i dont have one,

and i currently run a transportation and logistics company, as well as take care of my fathers furniture store seeing as he is ill

now u know who i am, all my information is verifiable, i also know all about u ED,

actually ed u need to check again cuz i belive bruno gabriel is owns the fastest all motor crx in canada, actually last event i was at bruno was the fastest all motor crx in canada, actually that was the last event of the year i belive ,

its kinda nice now that john is driving now , the kid they had before couldnt even shift or drive a manual car , johns crx is quick, but not the fastest as far as i know, theyve been doing alot better since they were able to figure out the timing issues they were having with tuning the individual coils , its gotta be nice to have full sponsorship.

i dunno though, i dont know john form etd, or bruno gabriel, or rob schneider, or scott makay, nope not me i dont know them oh wait yes i do

Yes Andrew, I said it. I have a solid grasp on this concept. I’m not going to try and convince anyone here that I am an all motor genius or anything. I’m interested in knowing how a single xxmm throttle body and all it’s associated intake crap is going to outflow 4 x52mm throttle bodies(Gixxer 1000).
Please explain as I am baffled by your claim that I don’t know what I’m talking about. Enlighten me!
Which one of the intake runners on any stock OR custom intake is likely to outflow a 52mm throttle body, as each runner gets to have one?

Since ADAM has ponied up some money, I think I’ll join in. $100 to the first SON member to break 200whp on the dyno with a KA24DE or E motor.
-No power adders, this is pure NA
-No race gas, this puppy should be able to be driven anywhere so the dyno run will be 91 octane with a fillup witnesses by me or big ADAM.
-No dump pipe, some form of resonator/muffler must be present.
-Dyno run must be made sometime in 2005
-No “correction” factored into the dyno for high ambient air temps etc.
-Dyno pull made in third gear
-ADAM H witnesses the dyno run

Anyhoo, thats what is needed for my $100 ADAM can add anything if he thinks of it. Good luck guys

tek… so lets continue the thought process… so since the bike air intake system is ok then…then i assume you could use a bike exhaust system on our car as well…if not why? if you think the amount of intake is the same there should be no issues using a bike exhaust as the output …no?

Correct…

Well, the intake lengths(and exhaust) will have to change according to your tuning requirements, such as ign. curve, cam, etc.
My contention was that 45-50+mm TBs that are on liter bikes are more than adequate to flow for our streetcars. You’d likely want a larger set for a 240 such as a Busa or ZX12 set.
