spend many a day/night sleeping in the drivers seat or passenger seat of a Ford E-350 Ambulance. I’ve learned that the drivers seat is far more comfy than the passenger seat, however I now can fall asleep in one in the upright driving position in less than 5 minutes. would give that a 1/10, but I’ve done it so long I can sleep there just as good as anywhere lol.
fell asleep in my Mustang a couple days ago…front end up on jackstands in the garage to enhance the seat recline. I was taking a break from working, woke up 2 hrs later and a little confused but well rested! 8/10
Chevy Blazer, 19th Birthday, Canada

Penske Chevy 3500 Cube Truck (Cab, back was full)
04 Grand Prix - Also slept behind it on this trip (yellowstone):
98 Firebird…in the driveway closed my eyes, woke up, was time for work.
Maybe more, I’m not tall so its easy to get comfortable.
94 Chevy astro van on the way to and home from Florida.
00 Corvette on trip home from florida. Hit A blizzard on rt 19 in WV and decided would be best not to drive in those conditions.
Many other if you are talking bout sleeping while others drive.

00 Camaro good drunk sleep but woke up hot as fuck.
97 Camaro see above
08 Calibre SRT 4 - was pretty good sleep, drunk of course. I went to Beaver Creek with 2 friends for his brothers Bike race. We bought a 3 person tent thinking it would fit 3 people. We were packed like sardines in that damn thing and it was extremely uncomfortable. so after about 20 min we said fuck it and went to the car to pass out.
I’m a tall dude but I did once sleep in the back of my 73 Westy camper that was parked in my garage at the time. I was 16 and just got it so give me some slack. Being 6’6" really doesn’t bode well with anything other then my king sized Serta memory foam.
94 bronco in the back with the rear seat folded down. not bad at all. 8/10 with a sleeping bag and pillow.
87 Shelby CSX. passenger seat. 7/10 with a pillow and some clothes as a blanket. was just fine till the semi hit the jake brake on the way by the side of I90, waking me up. fell back asleep though. I was on the way back to warsaw from chicago to see a Liquid Tension show.
91 Taurus SHO. 7/10. Drivers seat with the bolster, hip huggers and lumbar deflated. I had the leather with cloth center strip seats. I79 rest area on the way to pittsburgh. i was tired and had no schedule so i just slept. ive done that a few times.
89 Dodge Aries. rear bench. 8/10. laying on my back with some clothes as a pillow and other clothes as a blanket. my knees were bent and my feet propped up and i tucked all the seatbelts under the seat so it was pretty nice. I79 south on the way back from pittsburgh.
91 geo metro. 6/10. drivers seat. just a nap at work though.
02 forester. 7/10. leather drivers seat. another nap at work but i could have stayed there for hours.
all of these front seat ones had the seat reclined as far as it could go.
The funniest i have seen wasnt me. it was my friend scotty. we were going down 390 south from roch to corning when it wasnt smooth pavement at all in my turbo reliant 2-door which has konis and 330lb/in springs and a 3" turbo-back exhaust. loud as hell and thump-thump, thump-thump, thump-thump over crap pavement and expansion joints. i turn to look in the back seat to ask my buddy scotty a question and he is laying on his side with his head rested on the rear B pillar plastic trim, totally asleep (no drinking at all) and drooling on the plastic (easy clean up). i even called out his name a few times and he didnt wake up at all. his head was jiggling around every time i hit a bump. he finally woke up when we got to my friend steves house and i shut the car off. this was even after some back road blasts. he was asleep for 1.5hrs in there. the dude can sleep anywhere.
I used to drive back and forth from Norfolk,VA to Buffalo while on leave. I used to be able to pop some Nodoze and drink mucho pepsi and make the trip in 10 hours or so. The older I got the harder it became. One of the last trips, I couldn’t make it to NY to stop at a rest area and had to crash in my ZX2 at a porn shop. Talk about creepy. Second time was in my Shelby in my buddies driveway because I was too smashed to drive. Neither instances were comfortable and I woke up freezing.
