need help from someone with imported s13

a quick little favour to ask from anyone who’s imported an s13 either 180sx or silvia

planning on importing an s13 in the future and being from manitoba i just learned about the following

granted canadian parts would be available this adds to the cost of importing and what not so i’m wondering if anyone who’s got one imported could check to see if things like headlights, tail lights, glass etc is staped either with CMVSS, DOT, SAE markings that would be much appreciated

I havnt had problems like this in customs or alberta BC or SK but Canada wouldnt let these cars in if they couldnt let you register them. I can see when you get your OOP they might be picky about it but bring in a case of beer and I dont think you will have a problem with any of DOT BS.

yah i dont think it will be a huge issue however always expect the worst plus s13’s have a backup which you can swap in to pass a saftey just in case

yep over night parts from NAPA or CANADIAN TIRE can get your S13 to pass OOPs easy!
