I got two tickets in my accident. one for following too close and one for passing on the shoulder. this happened in lockport (which blows). does anybody know how much this is going cost me?

I assume your insurance is taking care of the other car you hit or you’re paying for it out of pocket? No injuries?
If so go to court on the tickets and see if you can get them reduced. Every time I’ve seen a person with accident related tickets at court the judge asks if the property damage has been taken care of it and if it was the tickets get reduced.

yes the other car is covered. the officer did say the tickets probably would get dropped but i want to make sure im going to have the scratch for this lol
I doubt they will get dropped as in dismissed but usually judges* are pretty cool about reductions as long as you were responsible and the other person’s stuff got fixed.
*judges outside of the asshole of WNY that is the City of Buffalo anyway.

likely story but…
I told the officer that i had verizon roadside assistance and they would be here in about an hour, he said i’ll have to use their contracted tow company and take up the charge with them because he cant let me stand on the side of the road for an hour. he then left me there on the side of the road after i told him i had no one to come and get me. when the cop left the scene he passed someone on the shoulder lol. the tow company wouldn’t tow my car to my house until the morning and they left after the cop. the tow guy said he has another call which means we probably do aswell. the 14 mile tow was $200. I was so pissed lol.
