sweet, so what is ur weight now w/u in it?
 congrats. When do you plan on getting to the track?
Well, I weigh about 152 or so, so that would make it right at 2,746 with me in it, at full street trim. At race trim, subtract around 100 pounds from that. Not bad eh?
I “could” go tonight, but I don’t want to rush things. I need to find a way to adjust my seat bracket, so that I am closer to the pedals. I also want to change the oil and give the car a once over really good before I beat on it for real. Hopefully I can take it this weekend down to Empire.
bring on the 10’s!
Woop woop!
Good to see updates Mark! 393 whp @ 30psi?
Where does the 100 pounds come from in race trim?.. pasanger seat and ?
Wheels and tires are huge! 60 pounds or so going to the QTPs and Rotas. Then the passenger seat is about 25 with the seat bracket. Then misc. stuff like switching my side mirrors to the cf deletes, etc…
Is there much more you can do to cut weight, besides the glass?
Yup, absolutely. I am going to start going through it myself, and taking out weight. There is wiring that is extra, a lot of small brackets and pieces, and then the padding under the carpet, the metal floor braces, etc…
That bitch is mean - AWD, 2700 lbs and 400 wheel makes for one helluva launch. Nice job man, I’d like to see this car one of these days now that I’m much closer to Rochester.
 good job Mark
awesome! In for times, good luck Mark!
I took it to the track today, and the MPH is there for sure. I just drove it there (24 miles) on street tires, ran 2 passes to test the brakes, check everything over, and then I came home.
I didn’t even launch, I rolled out and hammered on it in 1st. I went through 3 transfercases on street tires last year, so I didn’t want to risk it, heh. Rolling out it goes 99 in the 1/8th and 124 in the 1/4, hitting the limiter (8k) at around the 1000’ and coasting the last 320 feet. Not too shabby. I think it should have no trouble at all going 130 with the slick on there!

good times
hot damn.
Through the years, and different owners, cars accumulate stuff. I personally am a minamalist, so I hate things laughs. I pulled out a bunch of wiring and components that are not needed in the car anymore, such as the Greddy turbo timer, the factory gauge set, and a bunch of adapter harness connections:
Not only does stuff like this clean it up and save that extra pound of weight, but it makes diagnosing and fixing stuff down the road so much easier!

i can’t wait for full out passes. i’m pretty excited.
A quick re-dyno after replacing the incorrect spark plugs last night got us up to 406 whp and 354 ft/lb. After smoothing, it was 402/350
I need to get my ported heads on, fuuuuuuuuuu…
best 3 out of 5
Wow, that’s nice. I can’t wait to see what you can do with a real pass.
