the stock HE is a 2pass.
Thats weird, I wonder why alot of companies are selling a “dual pass endplate” as an upgrade, and why cobalt guys are considering them a mod then.
What does the New Era Cobalt have?
You need a tune!
Chris, why are you only posting pics of the clutch? wheres the nitrous pics?

stock HE has in/outlet on the bottem endtank with a diviter inside, the other endtank (upper) connect them. Suck that its sandwitched between the engine coolent rad. and AC condencer. To help regulate the IC fuild off engine coolent.
new era cobalt has our stage2 package, with a CTi longtube header, (thats not a huge gain at current power levels)
We just added it’s section back on the site, after it got lost over winter. Still have to add the mod list and more info, on the past dyno number/tracktimes/mods. And today its goning back on the dyno with 60’s we maxed the 42.5s
http://www.neweraperformanceparts.com/default.asp?SID=xFBVRUJ4NX3QJQDRAHGEQC&S=E3&Document=Cobalt+SS+Project&NID=3437723
And it as some more custom things I did that, that hopfully we’ll have available soon.
:tspry: LSJ…keep your eyes out for a popular magazine article:snky: sorry for the hyjack

At matt’s house. lol
I did some research on it now. I talk to a kid at a local parts store about his cobalt and my GP. Told me he’s getting a 2 pass ic…he left of that its a endplate/kit, and a few other things. He works at a local speed shop.

Mine made 249whp with the GM stage 2 Injen CAI and a 2.8. Is that really all I can expect out of moving to the 60#injectors and adding an exhaust with a custom tune??? If that’s the case Ill just wait for this…
Why not a turbo? My next step is, to ditch the HEaton and get a turbo for my car. But, then again those superchargers must make that lil car feel like a monster off the line.
Shawn, I think that kid is talking about changing the fuild flow to his laminova intercooler tubes. You add a fitting on the cast endtank, and change the plumbing of the system.
On a 2.8 and some better tunning we just got broke 270whp, 245wtq:)
GM sg2 cars here dyno about 242-245whp 205-209wqt. Ill see about getting the grafe up.

I am in need of a tune and possibly bigger injectors pretty badly. What’s the going rate you guys charge there??

for the same reason that they consider regapped plugs a mod? :mamoru:

Do you even read half of these posts from the same people?? For the most part it’s their first car they have ever done anything to. Do I keep a mod list for myself?? No, I don’t. I would assume they always tell people because EVERYONE asks. Is it a dumb question, I think so, but when the majority of the “owners” of these cars are like in the 16-20 year old range it seems they are all too lazy to actually find out what the different heat ranges and plug gaps actually do that’s what happens…come on…waiting for the “prideful cobalt driver” statement to come out again…I guess you could call it that…or the fact that Ive been paying on this car since I was 19 and have learned to respect things a bit more when you actually have to pay for them…If you only knew what It costs for insurance when I first got this car…
05 Ill send you a PM.
hot off a cell phone. lol Not bad for a 2.8, 93oct, just took it around the block tracion<dirty roads :smash2:
the 24x is a local with the highest GM sg2 Car we’ve had. Check out the GM afr :KRsmily:

Calm down sally, wring out Your panties. I don’t recall saying that “05OrangeSS modded his plugs ZOMG”
As I understand it You’re a decent kid and have worked hard on Your car, nothing wrong with that… mostly.
lol… if I only knew about your insurance? right.
btw: nice pick up on the parts, but nextime dont be skurred of unsprung - its not a huge adjustment.
