its gonna look badass with the fmic bolted up, cant wait to get that bytch bolted down like home depot, :lol
Hmm… nice setup man. Glad to see you’re ditching the shitty oem intake manifold.
You gotta ditch that Silvia front bumper for an aero bumper!
Harness looks damn nice as well. Can’t wait to see this car in person. Should’ve gone this route from day one.
Well that bumper isn’t OEM, I think it’s some kind of knock off brand but I can’t find any other Silvias with the same bumper.
Updated Pics:
Just throwing the Silvia front on to get an idea how it might look (only a couple bolts holding it on). I don’t care to much for the front bumper, it’s rounded a little too much for the coupes squarish look. It will probably look better black though.
Fabbed up some top mounts for the intercooler.
This bumper support came with the Silvia parts and was pre-cut, fits perfect! There isn’t too much strength to it so I’ll probably weld some reinforcements.
clean work bro. id like to see this thing in person.
:bowdown :bowdown :bowdown :bowdown !!!
its coming together really nice. can’t wait to see it out
Yeah i love that front end, looks so sick…Can’t wait to see it out as well
Very nice ;D
Hey awesome to see you on here!
THat bumper is kind of funky looking. What brand or version is it?
It looks just like a Bomex, but might be a knock-off. The fitment is pretty good though. I don’t know much about body kits but if it was a Bomex would it have some kind of marking or sticker on it?
On another note I would love to have a kit like this:
gp-sports
:wtf Hahah that’s the kit I myself was considering getting!
Gotta meet up, bro…gotta meet up. PM for sunday - what you doing?
imo the front bumper on that kit looks real good, and the rear looks terrible. just get the front ;D
there are billions of kits for 240s. I am partial to BN sports, or URAS for silvias. I like extremely aggresive and rivited on over fenders
BN Sports
URAS Type 4
Both kits have a bunch of super cheap knock-offs availible and on a 240 fitment isn’t huge issue
Both of those kits look pretty good.
Well in the past few days I finished the bumper support, cut my intercooler piping, ordered some new silicone couplers and adapters. I’m still working on mounting the fuse box and finish connecting the harness. I also should have my valve covers back from Powdertech in day or so. And I ordered a 1/0 gauge Kicker power wire kit to relocate my battery to the trunk.
Probably later in the week I’ll pick up a Greddy BOV and get somebody to weld the Aluminum flange on, as well as other connections to the intake.
Here are some pictures of the engine with the valve covers after powdercoating. I had them done at Powdertech and the color is Black Chrome.
And a shot of the front. I still need another coupler and I have to get a better 90deg pipe for the outlet of the intercooler. There is still quite a bit left to do before I can start it up.
Steve… i uhh… wish you were my brother. i’d be stealing this car every day. :bowdown :bowdown
lookin really good man
