I have the same coilovers and even through an entire day of drifting they didn’t loosen on me…My spring rate collars aren’t even that tight

the only place it would be coming apart would be at the bottom I assume if it is changing ride height.

Edit*
do yours have a pre-spring underneath the main spring on the rears?

No we have the exact same setup.

ive had mine since july and they havent moved once.

GL with the car. was going to ask you for help on the new subframe bushings… . but im flying out to AZ for a week. so ill ask u after lol

possibly your car just settled?

I mean my car settles about an inch when the suspension is upset from lifting the car or something of that nature

Mine has those helper springs

That was my other idea. The springs may have settled. I dunno though Stance’s springs are pretty stiff, I don’t think you’d really notice it.

w.e just raise it and keep driving.

Whoever continues to neg rep me in this thread calling me a noob please get your facts straight. Because I am sure I have more expirience in S-chassi then most of you (there are maybe 2 people on here how have been into s-chassis longer than me)

I’m trying to constructively help someone here

+rep to get you back up!

the rep system on here sucks dick. -rep for the stupiest shit. i got one from here, and another from the AIC thread.

When I get home I’ll check out the whole setup.

Was it knocking or squeaking at all? I would want to say maybe it was a spring wasn’t originally seated properly but that kinda hard to do on the stance coilovers since the perches are nice and flat

I will say that I have noticed that i can hear the spring turn once in awhile on its perch…it is tough to get that completely tight

Here’s the deal:

  1. The coilovers don’t make any noise.

  2. All the collars were tight.

  3. I have a 2 finger gap (between wheel and fender) on the pass side rear. On the drivers side rear it’s about 1.5 finger gap. They were a “loose” 2 finger gap the day before. So maybe they just settled in after hitting up some Knox roads :lol I also believe the fronts dropped a bit also, but they are even.

  4. I measured the rears from the bottom of the lower collar to the top of the spring. The pass side was 1/8" lower than the driver’s side, but the drivers side has a smaller wheel gap.

  5. The axles are fucked. I’m in the process of getting rebuilt ones. I think the diff is fine, it was welded VERY well :lol Hopefully I get my KAAZ diff back tomorrow

I know that on SC the passengers side naturally sit lower than the drivers side with nobody in the car. Maybe this is true for s13

I’ve never heard about that for the S13’s but maybe.

but really it just sounds like things settling.

srs your probably right srsly

The bearings in those rear hubs are okay, right?

Also, I wanted to know, when you put the front hubs on, did they need to be pressed on or they just slid on?

Yeah bearings are good. I had j30 hubs with new s13 bearings pressed in for the fronts, slid on like butter:thumbup

In Knox, springs don’t settle. They break.

+1 .
