I say you do a single 3" piece of pipe no cats no muffle nothing just single 3" pipe and have it stick out really far. Like as far as the 5" tip with the extension on my car
People say the RB motors sound good open like that. I already don’t have a cat and I’m 3" all the way. The problem right now is the test pipe and other exhaust flanges are scraping on everything. What I’d like to do is get some 3" stainless steel and a v-band flange/clamp and extend my downpipe to my cat-back and use the v-band flange for a lower profile connection.
I would do open 3" all the way back but that would be a little louder and don’t want to deal with the po-po

yo sOn my exhaust was never that low…we can swap 3" if you like, I mean, if mine is any better than yours. It’s a pseudo eBay exhaust but its solid stainless and sounds purdy…even comes with an uninstalled silencer
Dude :rofl no fucking way, I payed over $600 for mine, it’s not ebay crap. It’s only because the motor swap/engine mounts that I have to mod the downpipe a little to raise the exhaust.
