my 2000 altime has the “service engine soon” light on. I took it to a local shop to run the codes and the scanner would not talk to the engine computer, it worked with the other computers(abs, tranny). The car has a little over 100,000 miles and still runs good. Is there another way to pull the codes? I remember in my SHO that you crossed a few wires and noted the display on the air conditioner to get the codes.
Also, does anyone know how many o2 sensors are on it? I may replace them for the hell of it since they have never been replaced.
