i was wondering, if i could still get insurance on my hatch that has a rusted frame. I am thinking of gettin a illllll “legal” safety and emissions, so would the insurance company check my frame? I am thinking of getting insurance with belair direct aswell. Anyone know about this company? i got an online quote of 255 a month which is one of the cheapest prices i’ve found. I have about 1 year experience with one year insurance i am turning 22 in august so let me know what you guys think about my sitcuation please. thanks!
Insurance companies almost never do checks of that nature. At most they’ll ask to see your odometer and look for existing body damage (so you don’t claim it later)
PC and RBC insurance do all of thier business by mail/phone so they dont even see the car you are insuring.
I’ve tried to insure my rx7’s and supra via PC… they DO want to see pics and they do have one or two ‘go see people’ that they will send out to inspect a car if they see fit… PC wouldn’t touch my supra or FC, they didn’t want to insure a WRX wagon either. Also when you call them up, your dealing with someplace in southern India LOL.

I have bel air, they never jacked up the car or looked at the frame in the inspection. Just under the hood, exterior, and interior and took a couple pics and that’s it.

Yes PC is presidents choice, and the rates are usually VERY good, however you have to be over 25…
