If they dont sign a contract the will just get some other close affiliate to get the channel 4 suff until this is resolved.
I may be switching as well, but I want to make sure I get all my favorite channels elsewhere first. The one imparticular is Military channel. I love that channel, and is basically all I watch, since I don’t watch a whole lot of tv anyways.
^ I get the military channel on Dish. I’ve got one of the top tier packages though. Not sure how far down the tiers that one is carried.
thats good to know! with TW i have the package with all the extra discovery channels, which Military channel is a part of. I think the package has roughly 10 extra discovery/nat. geo., etc channels.
My parents used to have dish, and it always used to go out. That used to get really annoying. That’s the only thing that worries me about switching. My house still has a dish on it from the previous owner, but not sure if its out of date or even functional.
and FiOS is not available in my area yet :banghead:
Has anyone compared thier cable bills to any other utility bill? At least twice if not more. Its absolutly absurd the amount of money per year per house that goes to them.
So for those of you with Dish/Direct TV; how much are you paying with what features, and how are you doing the Internet?
I’ve been really debating switching because I’m paying like $137/mo to TW for Internet, Cable, 1 DVR/HD Box, and HBO.
Well channel 4 is still being aired…the only thing i’ll miss is the Bill’s game. otherwise that channel never goes on.
Who really cares about channel 4 anyways? I don’t think I ever even tuned into it once when I was in Buffalo.
anyone who watches the Bills games
but you can get channel 4 by using a set of bunny ears, even in hd too. thats how i watch it, other than that i just use directv to watch tv.
If I miss Smallville… I will kill a lamb
You watch smallville?!? WHAT A FAG!!!
PS I love smallville! no homo
I’ll just continue to watch the Bills game in HD over-the-air for free
seriously, i dont understand what the big deal is!? if they cancel it, plug your antenna in! profit?!
idk about you, but at my house, the reception from the antenna is terrible. It’s borderline viewable, but just a PITA.
well i live in holland, about 30 minutes south of buffalo and its crystal clear. my suggestion would be to buy a new antenna.
Ya, I went out and bought a new one last year. Think I paid around $50 or so for it hoping it would help. It did a little but not as much as I had hoped.
ah well, guess I’ll just walk down the street and go to Sal’s for the games :beer2:
well theres a site somewhere that tells you where to angle your antenna, per your location for different stations.
it was posted here a while ago, who knows of the website that allows you to enter your zip and it tells you how to angle your antenna?
^^thanks!
