But at the same time I disagree with you, strictly because not everyone just leaves and doesnt clean up. Although i havent been in the scene for to long i’ve still had my fair time around it. With a private day at Dunnville the manager ( John? ) was a pretty fair guy, he asked when you go off take a little time to clean it up…we did, no harm done. He made it seem like everything was ok.
Personally i think if we’re going to use the track, no matter what the cost, may it be $40 or $140, we should clean up regardless. Drifting is a sport we should all enjoy and at this point we’re forced to drive hours away to 1 single track. Where-as in the past we had a vast variety of tracks that were availble to choose from.
With events being cancled and reschedualed everyone seems to be loosing hope.
Like i stated in my last post, i still don’t believe this is all because of noise pollution. Its a track, we abused it, we’re paying for it. Lets take that as a lesson and do something in return next time, hopefully when this all gets settled.
We’re drifters, not street racers, we love controlled courses with proper corners and turns. I’d rather clean up the track for an hour than have to resort to drifting a parking lot with a potential stunting ticket.

I would agree let me clarify something most do clean-up but all it takes is one bad apple to spoil the whole bunch. It looks like in this case that is exactly what happened.
I know the two days we spent there for testing we probably spent 2-3hours cleaning up the track so that they did not have to do it. We also picked up garbage around the pits from the Media event they had there earlier in the week.

never been to a track before… would this be a good time to start? my 240 does not have very much power. just has ka with new intake and exhaust. new wheels and tein springs for handling. would it be worth it for me to come? want to get some experiance on the track

$40 track day, no one shows… wow…
fortunately, we got about 25+ cars out there… The day was leaked on Rennlist, as a result, the majority of the cars out there today were Porsche’s.
2 GT3’s, a 993 911 (driven by an OPP officer…lol) and 3 boxters…
the rest were NYspeeders and me killing it in my coupe…

i rode in that GT3… fukking crazy… i didnt realise that a straight NA 6 could put out over 415HP… it felt like a serious SR20 ALWAYS in boost… it was retarded fast. i want… but cant afford the $155k this year.

This GT3 owner has a hans device, full suit, full cage, $18k Dymag CF wheels, other retarded shit… he even went off, ripped off the lip. cleaned it up and put it back one… total badass.
Courteny from Autowerks who sets up all of the Porsches showed up to see his customers on track… it turned out to pretty much be a Porsche day.
Chris and Eric just put my new motor in this week, Sasha street tuned it after midnight on thursday… i had it on the track going full out yesterday.
the Z32 rears make a HUGE difference. eliminated teh front bias… HP+ on all 4 corners makes a big difference too. I need to mount the CCW’s and get 265 or 275’s out back for more grip to reduce the oversteer. In order to fit the CCw’s i’ll likely have to go widebody…
i was rocking in this thing but on the Kuhmo MX’s that are 3/4 finished i was skirting the limits of grip all of the time. fortunately i have a whole garge full of tires to mount and kill.

Really pissed I missed it but the consolation prize was my triple plate finally got installed.
i dont rush the brakes too too hard. the car is too much for the tires right now. i’m mostly just getting the course and lines down and sorting the car out in other areas.
bigger tires, CCW’s, new clutch… all should be on for Sept.
Onyx Syndicate has 4 more track days this year including at least one and maybe two full days in September… i want to get my monies worth.
