Awsome Colin. Can’t wait to see it

Very nice, also can’t wait to see it.

Yep, will definitely be bringing it out to some meets in the spring!

Sounds like a perfect excuse for an NECC road trip to Calgary! Congrats on the purchase Colin.

i’m jealous, nice ride Colin!

Definitely!

NICE!

Hey, let me know when you need it OPI’d I can get you the cheapest price in town at my shop.

Kewl, thanks!

Who did you use to import it and how much did you get the car for?

Going thru J-Spec Imports, gonna be around 15.5k landed, custom and tax paid.

Nice, thats a good price for a R33 GTR

cheaper/better/april 2010 legal

Cheaper - yes, at first blush
Better ? dunno, can’t read Japanese
Seems awful cheap for something with that few kms, maybe there’s a reason…also when you take into account mechanical inspection, inland transportation, packing, shipping, customs clearance, duty, taxes, brokerage fees etc, etc, the cost becomes a whole lot closer to what I am paying, grant you it may still be a bit cheaper. I looked at quite a number of Skylines that were both less expensive (Accident repaired, lower grade, thrashed) and more expensive (minty), I’m pretty confident I got a decent deal, maybe not the best, but also not the worst. But hey, if the inspection checks out and somebody can handle all of the legalities/shipping etc, looks like a good deal, go for it! I do not pretend to be an expert, but I did do some homework.

oh I know about all of these procedures and costs involved into bringing cars into Canada

I hope you like your car though … I would rather get a mint one with some goodies rather than a stock one and try to put expensive import parts on it later

Forgot about those online translators…translation leaves a little bit to be desired, but there is a mention of accident repair, so right there that has an impact on the value. Does look like a nice car tho. Mine’s not completely stock, does have a/m suspension, boost gauge, A/F controller, exhaust and maybe downpipes, I’m probably gonna put on a bigger FMIC, after that, dunno? Gotta learn about whats available. Some of the others I looked at where heavily modified (tuned ECU, clutch, brakes, etc.)and had been ridden hard. Some really nice minty ones with even fewer mods and same kms were running in the 20-22k range. Wonder what that one will end up going for in the end.

is this a Special Outa province inspection?

cuz i might be looking for one of thiose… if anyone knows of one…

? Not sure what you’re referring to…all vehicles from out of province need an OOP. Are you asking about something earlier in the thread?

Nice looking car man!
