Anyone that thinks that fines written for offenses are anything less than fundraising, obviously wasn’t paying attention when the state changed the pleading rules a few years back, the reason, the state was losing too much MONEY.

What we need is a few serial killers and bank robbers in the area. Give 'em some real crime to worry about and they won’t have all this extra time to harass motorists.
Plus if the serial killers are good enough, it’ll cut the population down a bit which means less traffic. Win-win situation.

Sure instant-on might get you sooner or later, but the V1 is well worth the $$ IMO. It’s saved me so many times I lost count.

Im going to say its for safety and good gas mileage reasons. Consumer reports tested an 05 camry and 05 mountaineer and the camry got 40mpg @ 55mph, mountainner - 24mpg @ 55. At 75mph the camry only got 30mpg while the mountainner got 18mpg.

me and joe took the SHO on a nice drive down a certain country road running 100MPH for about 30min. i would slow down to pass cars then boost it past them back up to my comfortable crusing speed. speed limits are a joke in NY.
so going to work i’ll just rip down side streets with my open exhaust instaed of being loud on the highway. It will wake up all the jobless people in buffalo on the way in. but if they don’t want me on the highway driving 70mph fine.

there is a time and a place. open flat newly paved road with almost no traffic at 1PM in good weather… if i was going to drive fast anywhere it was that road at that time.
