yes, i can adjust my boost controller for tps signal. I can run XX amount of boost at xx tps. I can set it up however i want. IE, 50% throttle=10psi, 60%=15psi, 70%= 18psi, 100%= 22psi.
But when im at the staging lane its realy hard to say ok, stage, then hit 2step anilag, then slip, then only half throttle, then 75%throttle then shift then 100% throttle, all while watching for wheel hop and spin.
like i said, i need to sort things out and dial some shit in.

ball and spring check valve, a two way solenoid and a switch on the shifter or near and you could have a simple bypass around the electronic controller just for first. could even have a limit switch that the shifter hits only when in first too hidden under the boot out of sight.
