wtf happened to the nerd talk? fucking aye, back to work it is.
real WELL! I’LL KILL YOU!!! :jays: :grammarnazi:
No seriously. Come do my yardwork. No profit whatsoever.
Count me out. I don’t want to participate in a business, it just complicates thing. I would be down for fixing up random parks around the city or something like that. Hopefully the little bastards would appreciate it and not destroy it.
we could do that to… we would just have to get ahold of the town that we picked and ask where do you want help… we have 50 people that want to do some work cleaning up this area …
im just throwing shit out here
if you guys want to get local shops names out there, get them to donate shit and then raffle that off. Then use that money to fix up the park, that is a community service project.
Do a free bbq and get NYSpeed members to donate hotdogs and hamburgers to the cause. Maybe if we(nyspeed) helped the community a bit, the cops wouldnt hate everyone/
anyone know of a particular area in need of help?
east side need not apply lol
I like the cop gps…would there be a way to make a super cheap gps based tracker that you can stick on a cop car?
I say use a magnet or some really strong fast drying glue find a kid with some balls, and stick them onto the cop cars frame.
After a few months you should have most of the cop cars labeled, and they won’t even know. Once they do catch on, since they would be cheap to make, it won’t matter when they throw them out.
(I don’t think they would ever catch on though.)
ya that would be cool.
php coder and network guru here.
Even better…
Step one: Get a park.
Step two: Give cops free coffee and donuts at the park.
Step three: Fix up park
Step four: As cops get donuts apply GPS tracking devices.
Step five: Profit!!
^ that would be a VERY cool project imo
edit: wouldn’t really need GPS locators on their cars though… every time someone picks up a signal from a cop shooting radar, it will inform everyone else of their location in real time
this is what i was trying to get at…
if we got nyspeeds name out there and had the stickers on our cars …could help your right im sure not… but it would show that some of us are not bad guys
exactly… instead of being known for street racing and ass clowning, they might think “hey, these are the guy that helped out XXX” and maybe cut us some slack
tire spin matters because it throws off your whole wheel RPM vs distance thing, duh…
shit you are right. But, you can detect wheelspin through software(would require a lot of real-world testing though). If you start to notice that the wheel rotations are jumping and then dropping back down, you know that you just had a spin condition and can adjust the calculations.
fun algorithms aye?
mine too :buickgn:
Meh. Not like wheelspin lasts that long. Just use averaged samples in your calculations to filter out bad data.
or average it. and toss out anything over .5 SD out… and reaverage with the good data. With emphasis towards the later readings
there are probably MUCH easier ways to accomplish that ^
