NYSpeed / OSYN Track Days 2008 [Next Day: Sept 13th] *NEW: Track Timing System!*

I improved by over a second and a half since last time, and nothing has changed setup wise, lol. I love knowing it’s driver improvement.

LOL I set this one as my desktop background… I love this picture

Or if put the timing sensors on the center straight about midlenth, you could do:
half lap warm up,
hot lap,
cool down around grand curve and pit in
then we could let the next car out before the previous gets in the pits

Josh mentioned getting software, so maybe it could be like Time Attack with three laps: warm up, hot lap, hot lap

Josh was telling me that the software has much more functionality. I’m sure somethign better will be arranged

I do the Curve Grande at WOT in my Neon, actually i think i lift a tiny bit midway thru it…but not much…its a blast…you just gotta meet those cones on the inside each time…or else ull be off line for the exit = grass. lol

IMO, for a fast WOT line through Grand Curve all the cones are wrong except for the final apex cone.

It’s been a while since i’ve been on the track…so i should have put more thought into my post. Your right. The last cone is the most accurate one. Sorry

yeah thats a GREAT shot dan, thanks!!

mike’s right, those cones are pretty much pointless (I wish they’d just remove them after the n00bs found their way, make ppl learn REAL reference points)

lol thanks… Anyone wants full resolution just pm me… I’ll send the original and post edit file.

Going to put in leave for the 13th.
I will be there.
blah.

Just need to fix my leaking transmission seal and maybe my exhaust.
I should do my brakes too.

Yeah once I have the rest of the system we’ll have like 4 cars out there at a time.

WOT through grand curve?

i couldnt do that without hanging the rear end out and letting the tires spin. you guys must be driving non-turbo cars… or slow ones anyways.

No love for the yellow kaa… :emo: :frowning:

Sorry over looked it… I have one other one… but it came out blurry… :frowning: In 1280 X 800 just incase you had a widescreen monitor and want to have a desktop background  Which turns out to be my desktop now. I love the yellow its a great color.

If only it was a prettier sky :frowning:

Yep, slow cars:

I like it, thank you

validated… thanks

WTF you better be at the Sept 27th one.

I can’t go WOT through Curve Grande… I see no point in power oversteering it when I can just get the same result with a little lift.

If I’m on it with out kickin the back end out … I get a little too much understeer…

I’m sure its just me being a poor driver lol
