How I feel about Santorum
Its funny because EVERY SINGLE Republican I talk to feels this exact same way yet the party just cant seem to find a clear cut candidate who represents this mindset. Just shows you how strong the bible belt really is.
Because if you were just plain ol’ Mr. Republican, you need to earn your votes. However, if God talks to you and helps you make your decisions and base your life around religion, it doesn’t matter what your other views or stands on other points, you’ll have the evangelical and crazies vote no matter what. God rules.

I’d vote for a rabbi driving a pope mobile upholstered with a prayer rug if he stood up and said “I will not as president create a single job. That’s up to the private sector. I will work to prevent foreign invasion, and otherwise do only what is required to maintain order between the states.” That’s sort of what the constitution established afterall. Bigger government than under the articles of confederation, but not remotely as large and all penetrating as it is today.
Hence what I consider one of the other biggest problems that Tradersbase touched on up there… Lobbying (and related activities). HOW THE FUCK IS LOBBYING STILL LEGAL???
It’s not about the bible belt. It’s the mob mentality. It’s people who only vote when they’re REALLY pissed. The Tea Party came on full force when? Around the time that POS healthcare bill passed? Republicans got pissed off about that shit, and instead of speaking rationally and remaining moderate, everyone wants to jump to the polar opposite side of the board. In comes the midterm elections, and conservative republicans swooped in for the kill. Like shooting fish in a barrel. “Oh Hi! I’m the opposite of Obama. Vote for me!”.
Instead of there being moderate republicans and moderate democrats, there are now just conservatives and liberals. Polar opposites fighting for legislation that is extreme.
Can’t we just cut the crap, put moderate politicians into office that aren’t corrupt as fuck, and churn out some solid legislation? Both sides have good points, but they need to hear each other out and compromise.
Individual lobbying is one thing, but now that corporations can donate to campaigns I fear for the whole system. Another example of the supreme court acting as a rubber leg on what’s supposed to be a three legged stool.
Meh, I don’t care about how poor someone else is or how much government assistance someone needs. I can only spend my YTD. It’s not my fault I made lemonade and others waited until the US sold out of pitchers and lemon squeezers. Now they get government assisted lemons and complain that it’s not watermelons.

Our country is so deep in debt it can’t even see the light anymore, yet we give millions of dollars to other countries who after hundreds of years, still can’t get their shit together.

Most of the aid never makes it’s way to the supposed intended people, that’s the scam, not unlike welfare. IMF/World bank have been setup for this precise purpose. Nobody every questions why we give (or loan) BILLIONS to impoverished nations to help them build themselves, always up with no result. Often they get into loans which they can’t afford and their top level eat most the funds right up. Kind of like the US itself, shocker. LOL
Obama will also be the first re-elected black president. It all makes sense now, Sean Hannity is pushing for someone who has a 0% chance of beating Obama so the New World Order plan can take the next step…
