^really good game, nice job by Fleury in the shootout, and someone should tell Crosby he has to make contact with the puck for it to go into the net

he had the goalie beat like crazy. his side to side movement blew, thats how they scored both the shootout goals, but yeah. crosby has to keep the puck on his stick
no he didnt. grantd more than likely crosby wouldve had it if he kept control but still, he didnt have abesher undressed by anymeans (please see kovalev goal for that) …and like i said, i know he CAN produce in the shootout but hes not. so i would like to see him sit once just to give someone else a shot and also just to show that this team isnt entirly about him in every aspect. hes been in every shootout based on his name not his performances. how do you think Christensen has gotten to be a lock onto the shootout line-up?..not because his name makes you think hes one of our top 3 forwards, its cause he puts the puck in the net come shootout time. so if you have a guy that has done NOTHING all year, i dont see a problem with sitting him if hes not gettin it done, regardless of who it is.
Awesome game…Fleury played awesome…I am pretty sure (if I had the $) I would have a #3 jersey for sure…Eaton is sooo awesome. 7-0-1 in out last 8 games…lets keep it up!!!
BTW smokeyturd…I think Crosby needs to go 4th (if it gets there) for one shootout…and staal or malone should get a shot. #16 (My favorite non famous pen) is too dominate…that kid is sick
to me it looked like the goalie would have blocked it with his pads. His stick hit the pads on the wiff.

Y the fuck did crosby try to showboat, if it wasn’t for him doing that and passing the damn puck it would of been a different outcome… And how about bulliaur(sp),that motherfucker played great def but he is dirty as fuck.

that was ridiculous the way crosby held the puck and circled the zone like that. its 4on-4 for christs sake. when he circled back to the blue line Orpik stayed up and Crosby only had Whitney on the blue line, you gotts know better than to try to go through the whole team when theres noone behind you. use your head and pass the damn puck and quit tryin to be the hero.

Yeah he could/should have passed it, but I don’t think he is a “showboater”…I just think he was on a mission to do it all himself or to see the perfect set up he wanted…I don’t really think he gets fancy just to look good. He just was waiting for the perfect play when he should have threw it to the net. Oh well like I said we have points in our last 9 and are in 6th place…with a few games in hand compared to everyone else…so I am happy :blanyer:
ya, i wouldnt call him a showboater really, but i just think he wanted to do it all himself when he shouldve used his head. when he first went behind the net, he had orpik trailing and i expected him to drop it back but when he circled and kept it, hes gotta be lookin to get it back in deep, not single-handledly go through the whole team. but its over, we got a point and crosbys done way more good, so you cant crucify him for a bad mistake, but it was a bad mistake none-the-less.
