I think its all talk to get a better deal… I cant see them leaving, if they were Im sure they would have announced it. No way they get a better deal here than in KC. Nice comeback tonight, I gave up on em, 4-1… went to work and missed the 3 goals, oh well saw the shootout!
the arena itself is the only better deal in KC though. that market is ass compared to here and there is something about the revenue or shares that isnt that great in the KC deal that they would be getting here.
regardless, last nights game was sweet!

No way. It’s make or break time TONITE. If they don’t announce something big time positive tonite, the Pens are gone. They might fuck around a little to not lose a ton of attendance or whatever, but if there is no major positive news tonite (i.e. - a deal or tentative deal) then we go from 3 major league teams to 2. 
I’d hate to bail out on the Pens like that, but how funny would it be to see a mass strike and attendance drops to like 4,000 a game.
BTW just got a ticket for tonight’s game, woooooo!

Well not much time to decide because of scheduling, maybe changing divisions, confrences, etc… I’ll be highly ticked if they let this team go. I was a pens fan for years, when I was younger I didnt even watch the steelers, all pens for me. I think it will be a HUGE mistake to let the team go for many reasons. Should have let the Pirates go, they always suck.
i don’t want the pens to go but they gettin f’ed by this state. 2 other teams got new stadiums here in pgh, they got a remodel. they got a casino to build a new arena costing us taxpayers nothing and some jerks shut that plan down. now it all comes down to rendell. if this was happening in philly we would have a new arena already. there new model for financing included the money from the majestic star which might not happen anymore since both appeal’s have been filed. at the very least it delay’s it by a year.
I was thinking about the scheduling thing. I don’t think its a big deal. If they move to K.C., then just switch their schedule with Columbus, stick Columbus in the EAst with NJ, the two NY teams and Washington, and then put the Pens in the division with Nashville, Detroit, St. Louis, and Chicago
But I don’t want to think about that. I want them to STAY!
Well just read they are meeting again next week… this is killin me! So Im thinking they are working out details. But I wont count my chickens til they hatch!
despite a loss, still a great game. I caught a couple shots in the shootout, which is the first one I’ve seen live.
It is looking pretty good. Not to be too over optimistic, but if they are meeting again after 4 hours of negotiations, that is an excellent sign. I would be shocked if they left.
