OFFICIAL '07-'08 BUFFALO SABRES SEASON THREAD

we pulled it off pretty well too, i was saying how much i cant stand max anymore before the game then he had to show me up with the 2 goals and an assist

I really hope the caps dont look as good tomarrow as they did tonight with the 10-2 victory over boston

u get NOTHING, u LOSE!

JK…WAD!!

WDYKTIDK?

Actually, not icing the puck was a good idea, as they sucked all night at face offs in their own zone. The first Philly goal was the result of a lost face off…

eh boston sucks and aren’t going to win the cup, all it takes is a team to have a good solid night against them and they collapse. I think tomorrows game against the caps will be a good match.

So having stickless Spacek take a penalty because he has to bail out Sekera after his stupid attempt at stick handling was the right play?

I’ll take a faceoff with all 5 guys having sticks over 5 on 4 any day.

sorry, wrong response, try again.

i would choose facing off with 5 players with sticks any day to scrambling in our own zone with a stickless defensemen…

:bloated:

And lets not forget he didn’t have to ice it. Just lift it and let it land out at center ice instead of trying to make a move and skate it out of the zone. You have to be aware of the situation on the ice, and having your defense partner without a stick is one of those situations where you just clear the zone the safest way possible.

:word:

lol, wow, that play got you guys really hot and bothered.

the kid came in after not playing for quite a while and looked pretty solid all night. hockey is a game of mistakes, not perfection. spacek didn’t have to take that penalty, either.

When Roy scored the decisive goal just 66 seconds into the third period, it seemed he took advantage of a costly mental lapse by Philly’s defense. But Flyers coach John Stevens was furious after the game because Roy was the fifth skater during a 4-on-4. Replays clearly showed the Sabres already had four players on the ice when Roy hopped over the boards and skated to the Flyers’ blue line.

Roy came on the ice for Max

hahaha was a good game I guess, I didnt watch I listened to flyers radio.
lol @ the 5 on 4 suposidly 4 on 4 goal, even taking it away wouldnt have mattered much.
Philly has the talent, they just need to figure thier formula out, Anythings better than last place like last season.

how longs hank out for?

Philly like have FAILED!:lolham:

i cant say ! :ohnoes::jawdrop:

So who all is going tonight? I know quite a few people on here are…post up, lets meet up for a brew or two

The play doesn’t bother me as much as the fact that he was there to make it. I still don’t get benching Kalinin, who has played great since he was paired Pratt, because he didn’t play well once you broke him and Pratt up. Bench Paesch and put Sakera with Spacek so you can get back the solid line of Pratt and Kalinin.

And  at our 5 on 4.

Maybe we should remind Philly of the goal they scored on us in the playoffs that went through the side of the net before their bitching gets too loud.

Ugh Sukera…how many turnover/giveaways did he have…

I really dont see what you guys are seeing in him…

he is primed to be the next Kalinin.

ill be there tonight. prolly at irish times before hand

found this quote on espn.com

“I saw it after the fact,” Stevens said. “It’s a totally blown call. There’s no excuse after that, but that third goal is a killer and it’s a totally blown call.”

but yet your scummy team once again tried to injur someone…that wasnt a blown call at all

/sarcasm
