OFFICIAL '12-'13 BUFFALO SABRES SEASON THREAD

They are weak. Every single year we have a team that is full of pussies…for the exception of a select few. Look at the way these west coast teams play. Very fast pace, very intense, very physical. Anytime we play a team, we sink them down to more of our level and slow down the game by so much. I’d rather have underdog teams like San Jose and Vancouver

You consider Vancouver an “underdog” team? I mean, they’ve only won the presidents trophy the past 2 years, in the hardest conference.

Ugh.

sorry, I’m going back. My apologies.

More saying, I’d be ok with losing games… if they were actually entertaining and clearly a hard working game. Losing and having 10 minutes a game of decent play… that fucking blows!

UGH this team.
:fail::picard::dunno::worf:

Might as well cancel the season. lol

Sabres’ Stanley Cup Odds Officially Hit Zero Percent

They’re in a bad spot but even .8 seems a bit ridiculous for a percentage…

I’m hoping for a quick turn around…I mean, they can’t get much worse at this point. Of course I always seem to be hopelessly optimistic about this shitty team so…

This is exactly what you DON’T want. 1st Overall draft pick is great to have in hockey. Look at the past first rounders…these kids are ready to play. They are highly skilled young players.

At this point in the season, to even remotely come close to cracking the playoffs I think you’re looking at 20+ wins. You’re also only playing your conference, that hurts chances too.

I never liked the “lets get a first overall pick” argument…especially in the NHL where it’s decided by a lottery for the most part.

Like I said… hopelessly optimistic, but if they surge into the playoffs at this point they’ll have some momentum to hopefully do something once they get here.

With this new alignment, our chances of getting a 1st round pick are less. Besides, they will pick it up here, play just good enough to miss the playoffs and miss out on a decent pick.

This is great. I am assuming it’s from Shredd and Regan?

Great game… :pat: :bush:

For the first time last night, I jumped on the “we need bigger, stronger players” bandwagon. If was clear as day that we were just too small to play against Carolina. Every time Ennis or Gerbe tried to bring it across the blue line, they were simply squeezed out of the play. I’m not looking for Scott like guys who are goons that can fight. I want a Lucic. Someone who can play the puck and not just dump it to the next closest player every time he gets it.

buffalo bills style!!!

Fire Lindy again!

I want to know what photos Darcy Regier has of someone to keep his job. He built a team of soft, small players, and kept Ruff way too long. As long as he is here, the team is nowhere.

Top 3 draft pick coming our way

I will quote myself again here. I am a proud owner of an Ennis jersey because I love the kids play, but we are just getting thrown around like tag dolls out there lately. There’s not enough power on our team and then they go and bench a 6’ 200 lb forward for a game against the flyers.

It’s clear as day that Simmons was playing to hurt yesterday. I think their whole team was.

Can Darcy, holy shit! Sorry but we have the players we have now because of him. If our team is weak and the players have no weight, skill, height, ability to play with the surrounding players… that is the GM who needs to figure this out… which has not happened for how long. Lets change this up now!

I legitimately laughed out loud when Keith Jones said something along the lines of the Sabres are a tough, physical team to play against during the intermission last night.
