Alright… I are amused. Viewing .pdf’s, utilizing the hotlinks within said documents to tracking info, directly to FedEx’s tracking site, networked the thing at home (shock and awe), printing from my phone via my computer (older non wifi printer) shock and awe, modifying .docx documents and printing, very amazed this is all working (due to the fact I suck at teh intarwebz)
Anyone have an opinion about the MotoACTV? I’m thinking of getting my fiancee one for birthday…either that or a big iPod touch. She works out a lot and only has a 4GB iPod as of right now. I hate Apple products but since they stopped making the Zune HD the prices have skyrocketed.

I have no opinion on it. However, I suggest you get her what she wants regardless of what brands you have a silly grudge against.
$70 aditional for the heart rate monitor, no +ant compatibility from a quick look… hrmm… It does play music though, so it’s got Garmin forerunners beat.
It’s got a built-in GPS rather than an ipod nano’s pedometer.
But what does she use it for? Is she like 99% of women who just crank away on an eliptical for an hour, eat tons of bagels, and bitch about not losing weight?
I LOVE those chicks at the gym, lolz. I’m just planning on keep carrying my phone, tracking with imapmyride, and jamming to Pandora. I have little to no music actually on my phone.

She’s lost 80+ lbs so far, and works out regularly (with a trainer). She completed 2 or 3 5ks with me last year and runs pretty regularly during the spring/summer. So the work out aspect is accounted for. From what I’ve read the GPS is better than Garmin’s stuff. I can’t confirm or deny that. She really likes my Zune and isn’t materialistic so she’s not bugging me to get an iEverything.

Anyone else have any issues with 4g for Verizon this past weekend. I don’t think I had 4g since Wednesday night. I’m about to do a battery pull but waiting till tomorrow because I’m to lazy to get something to pry my phone open right now.

I figure even if you don’t fully use Box (I haven’t even really started), 50GB is a lot of data/music/pictures…etc.
Just ordered the Motoactv for my fiancee’s birthday next month, they had a promotion to get the writband ($29.99) free with purchase. I snagged the 16GB one, so I’ll figure it out a little later when it comes in, which should be today.

So I am freaking out. I love ice cream sandwich! I bought a Galaxy Nexus in February and then promptly returned it because I didn’t like how big it was… (insert small hands jokes here). I am still rocking a 2+ year old Droid Incredible… I really want Ice Cream Sandwich (as does everyone). I am up for renewal, but obviously the only option right now is the Nexus. It appears the immediate future is only filled with 2.3 devices and huge displays. So now I am re-evaluating my love for Android.
-lack of push notifications in 90% of apps.
-lack of polish in 50% of apps
-battery life seems to be worse than iPhone from what I can tell. (damn free apps/ads)
-lack of some major quality apps (cant wait for instagram!) **this is probably because developing for Android and its 10 different OS versions is a PITA
-Seems that all manufactures want to do is make huge phones lately (battery life again…)
All that said and done I hate Apple, I hate what they stand for, I hate most of their consumers, I am a iHater.
