Samsung chargers are the best…6ft cable FTW!

So it looks like a GS3 sells for $400-450 on ebay or swappa. If you file an insurance claim and don’t return the old phone they charge you $300. I believe I’ve found a new business venture. :snky:

insurance fraud!

Don’t worry I’m way too lazy for insurance fraud.

Insurance companies must have good lobbyists because they put you away for a long time if you try to pull that sh*t. lol

I checked out that huge Samsung phone while at BestBuy last night and I actually like it. I have large hands and a large head, it is like it was made for me.lol
The only con would be in the summer, I HATE putting anything in my short’s pockets so that phone would be not so good. However during jacket months it would not bother me one bit.
Maybe I need a summer phone and a winter phone.

I am so glad I am not alone on the shorts argument. I hate that.

It works! Sweet, thanks.

Some cool facts/stats

^Didn’t see anything about how they react to mobile anti-viruses. It also relies (as most typical malware does) on user stupidity. I WON AN iPAD!!! AWESOME, I will Certainly click this link.

He who sacrifices freedom for security deserves neither. -Benjamin Franklin

The fact that you think this quote is relevant makes you an idiot. I’ve got a great quote for people like you:

“Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.” - Abraham Lincoln

bwahahahaha it was just a joke.

I actually have some strict android security policies in place at most of my clients offices. I know that doesn’t apply in the workplace, and computer security.

sarcasm tags man, use them

Mobile actually makes things more secure when I do phishing attempts on large companies we were using exploits and other stuff however way to many people were clicking from iPads where Java exploits etc don’t work.

However I have fixed this by doing a redirect for mobile devices saying please use your PC which actually increased the number of people clicking shit.

You know, the whole IT industry is really buzzing over byod and mobile security right now, but I tend to disagree with a lot of the panic going on. When it comes down to it, the devices really aren’t THAT insecure. Using exchange to enforce basic best practices like device encyption, wiping after 10 PIN fails, etc… make it pretty hard to have a significant breach occur via mobile. Couple that with the difficulty of drive-by attacks, app sandboxing, no root access without jailbreak, etc… and you end up with a pretty reasonable level of risk.

no encryption is a big concern for me.

ActiveSync and other solutions can enforce encryption on the mobile device.

Outside of that most corporate email solutions have a reset/erase/kill function so for this to actually matter someone would need to steal a phone turn it on where there is 0 coverage and hack it to steal corp email.

At which point there are much easier ways of getting in.

We have the remote kill on the Exchange, but we also have people handling student information, credit cards, etc. Not sure how well iPads and other Tablets can protect that if it falls into the wrong hands.

Yea uh don’t put sensitive shit in email lol

well not necessarily through email, but at all. Excel spreadsheets, w/e. Normally it’s fine because we have 2-factor encrypted laptops.
