Just a change of pace?

For what it’s worth when I ordered a 16GB when they came back in stock it said 2-4 weeks but shipped in 2 days so I would say that it’s going to be less than they say…

Over the past 6-7 months Android devices have finally caught up to iPhone in hardware/OS features and now that the Nexus 4 gets updates directly from google it might be worth it.

With the amount of travel I do I want to see if the battery life works out better, Google maps, and Google now.

Buy Nexus 4 for 299 -> Sell 4S for $200+ -> If the Nexus sucks im do for an upgrade from AT&T in less then 9 months so I will grab a 5 or whatever the current Apple phone is

Bang for buck name brand android tablet, what isn’t shit? Aiming towards lower end of spectrum, coffee table book is intended use.

Nexus 7 can’t beat it for the price

That’s the plan. Got the Nexus 4 for my girlfriends dad as a Christmas gift. He’s sick of iPhone 4 but isn’t eligible for an upgrade yet. Plus he’s a Linux user so will adapt quickly.

I’ve been blown away with the battery life on my DNA. Nexus 4 has same specs and running vanilla android should get even better. I love jelly bean.

Just ordered nexus 7 for g/f’s christmas present. Finally can get rid of her nook color.

Anyone try out navfree gps app yet?

LOLLLLZZZZZZ only nerdz will appreciate this.

A friend of mine found a bug in Android that caused a crash a year or so tried talk to Android Security team they ignored him…He published the PoC still just a crash nothing really cool.

One of the guys at work doing mobile research look at the PoC and fucked with it a bit and now has code execution with it

Shit like this is what worries me about Android I don’t need people haxing my shit

nexus 4 vs S3? Any opinions, thinking of selling the S3.

I thought the S3 has LTE?

Go with the Nexus 4. The only thing better than a phone with an easily breakable glass front is a phone with an easily breakable glass back!

Buy a case like a normal person? lol

I’m just looking for a change. My S3 has been kinda of finicky lately. Nova has crashed a few times and for some reason when ever I restart the phone the samsung keyboard returns to default instead of swiftkey. I did a factory reset after jellybean but it just seems like samsung is being a bully and forcing itself to be the ruler.

If the nexus was in stock I probably would have pulled the trigger already.

You and your logic!

What’s the point of it being glass then? :stuck_out_tongue:
I’m seeing alot of “bumper” cases out there that give the best of both worlds I guess.

Ive had a otterbox on my S3 since day 1. But lets be honest here, having a case on such a wonderful piece of art is like your hot g/f wearing hoodys all the time. You want to show her off but shes always covered up.

So Ive been playing with the Nexus 7 and I must say googles 4.2 is a lot better than Samsung/Att version of 4.1.1. Its making me think of rooting my S3

Nexus 7 32GB w/ $10 Adorama gift card for $228 shipped.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to Sport 6.3-inch Full HD Display, Can It Get Even Bigger?

that’s just ridiculous. The Nexus 7 is, well, 7 inches lol.
