I am too except I had to root the VZW GS3 to use data overseas. They pushed the 4.1 Global phone update which, by the way, locks down APN settings.
I guess I’d do the same if I were Verizon. Why not force a shit ton of business subscribers to pay you $25 per 100 megs

Yeah there’s been a couple of times when I was on travel and tossed on stock firmware so taht I didn’t have to deal with buggy custom rom bullshit. Of course then I deal with buggy stock rom bullshit. I definitely see the appeal of end-to-end products like iphones or blackberries back when they weren’t 3 years away from relevancy.
does anyone have any idea if verizon will be coming out with anything in the near future or what seems to be a good phone right now? my contract is up pretty soon ~april so its time for a new phone.
sticking with android. right now i have a droid 3, sometimes a little slow since its a 3g phone, and maybe once a month itll be glitchy or lock up, but otherwise im very happy with it and use it more than i should lol. seems like theyre doing away with the keyboard which sucks…still like to use it about half the time on mine.
