the droid is gonna have threaded texting right? i havent seen anything about it, unless i’m looking in the wrong places.
yes it has threaded text.
as far as it being corporate user friendly it should do alright, being able to sync w/exchange. IMO its a more solid os than winmo, i would have to say blackberry will still be the best for MOST corporate users tho, even though a ton will buy android phones.
its NOT the iphone but i think it will be some good competition. as for it being too complicated for people thats fine, if you cant figure out how to use android/blackberry software you most likely do not need a smartphone.
i have played with both, the droid and the eris, both are pretty awesome. im a HUGE blackberry fan and untill playing with both phones today for like 4 hrs i could never have imagined getting rid of BBM but idk now…
$350 term fee on the moto droid…
where did you hear that?
Post source or ban.
They way VZW builds / handles the term fees is device independent.
First, it’s a rumor.
Second, it’s would be on all smartphones.
Awesome, I finally made someones “list”. Its not rocket science to know the Iphone will still blow this outta the water. User friendly + can be used for anything and everything = better then this phone. Even the commercial is stupid as the iphone does what the commercial states it doesnt apparently do.
From what I’ve heard this is a very limited use phone, just like…wait for it…the BLACKBERRY…I’m no bashing it all as it does look promising for those select few who can gain from its features.
Wanna be iPhone :-\
lol iphone humpers.
go back to your thread.
your an idiot.
I wish people would come up with creative new ideas…Blackberry is innovative…
Look at the marketing campaign for this thing…it wants to be an iPhone…
lol, ironic spelling fail FTW
I have a question for the verizon employees. I have a 2 year contract. I am eligible for a NE2 as of July 2010. I got my current phone around this time last year. My question is, can I just do an annual upgrade instead of a NE2?
The website isn’t very clear on it. Please help.
probably. I don’t know the current rules though, I don’t deal with consumer accounts.
To an extent, one could argue that nothing the iphone did was innovative. None of the features it had were new.
I don’t need to turn this into a debate…but look at the features and how it changed the market…
I will bring this up over beers
it’s all in the apps and the browser
I know what it did to the market. Apple has an incredible marketing team and a whole lot of trendy FGGT followers.
but without all the games/apps, it is a fairly basic device. A browser, email client, ipod functionality and a few other mostly useless apps.
Multi touch
Accelerometer
Proximity sensor
yeah, true…but those features aren’t really what made people flock to the device…maybe the phone nerds
