well first did you buy that app? 2nd its not actually called auto stop its called auto-end and you yourself would have had to enable it and from the sounds of it you didnt if you dont know how to stop it. task managers are pretty useless with 2.2 now though, the OS basically has its own

false…search for a cracked version of it there are a few types so you might have to some experimenting on what one works with it, or there is a similar app in the market called slideit
Yea 2.2 on X was supposed to be mid to late august… then early september… then mid september… now late september with zero confirmation of it ever happening.
awesome… I think rooted people can do it but i like that you can save apps to the phone memory (anyone know off hand how much there is within the phone outside of the SD card)
I remember when I had backgrounds and programs on my old phone, they loaded much faster when saved on the phone rather than the sd card
Probably a stupid question, but if I’m connected to a WiFi source, does that take precedence over the cell network for downloads? Ie: I’d connect to my WiFi at home to download the 2.2 update so it’ll go faster than doing it over cell towers.
if you have the free version of that then you dont even have the option to turn it on or off so dont worry about it
also just a heads up i saw on facebook that morotola says they are riolling out 2.2 to a small number of test users tomorrow and a broader crowd in the future so that may or may not mean you will get it tomorrow but i bet you will be able to manually update it somewhere
I didn’t see it mentioned in here at all but i just downloaded the TiKL touch to talk app and its pretty sweet. Its basically the same concept that nextel uses with there network. I work with my brother and its so convenient to just ask him something by pressing a button.
