They definitely did some good shit with this. The app drawer FINALLY opens to the last spot you opened it, not the top of the drawer every time you back out. That alone kept me on launcher pro vs stock blur before.
Blah. Benchmarks a cunt hair higher on GB, but with all the crappy animations it still feels slower, even with LP smothering most of blur. I’ll be jumping back to 2.2 for the next Liberty ROM as soon as its out.

Yeah really. I’m scoring 16-16.5 mflops on linpack (same as liberty 1.5) and scoring about 1800 on quadrant. I was getting 16xx with liberty. I’m downloading the firmware flash file now to go back to 2.2, then to the next liberty which will hopefully be out today.

Quandrant is inconsistent and not really a great way to benchmark true end user performance. I certainly wouldn’t fret over it.
need a decent note taking app for free. To jot down numbers and info on the fly.
I can’t say that it’s particularly good, but I usually use colornote. Throw a few blank widgets on a home screen and use them as scratch pads.
I use ‘ak notepad’. It’s pretty basic and a little more convenient in the sense you don’t have to take the additional steps and make a title for the note like other apps.

i actually gave up on his rom, i kept having way to many problems with text messages, and all sorts of slowness even when i flashed his 1Ghz kernel. moved to cyanogenmed 7 rc4 and it seems a lot better so far, few bugs here and there but its ok

Just joined the rooted club…now I gotta take some screenshots for work.
Has anyone rooted their atrix yet? I tried the SuperOneClick that worked fine on my droid, and it just sits their and doesn’t do anything. I’ve tried turning debugging on, off, using each of the different mounting options, got the drivers, and everything but it won’t take.
Looks like gingerbread official has been rolling out OTA for the X since yesterday. Team Black Hat already has it rooted, though they haven’t said how yet. I found one post where the guy claimed significantly improved cellular and wifi reception with the official vs the leak.
I’m flashing back to 2.2 now to try the update.

Supposedly it’s just a zip of the OTA that’s starting to roll out. Sounds pretty official to me. :shrug:
