if you want to flash custom roms DO NOT do the OTA update to gingerbread… they (last I checked) have not found a new exploit yet. I wish I would have rooted my phone and just run a GB rom… Oh well. Gettin rid of my EVO later today!

Is there an App to transfer and save all of your txt messages from a certain contact?
gosms has an option to back up all of them…I don’t think theres an option for just one contact though
The beauty of these phones is even if you brick them, you can almost always fight your way back, I have bricked and boot-looped mine several times and I’ve always been able to get back to where I wanna be with minimal trouble, and all through my own experimentation and experience, I’ve never had to bug experts or tech people. My biggest tip is make sure you create a backup before flashing.
Also, Rom Manager is good to have, but don’t use it for flashing, it does a bit of a hack job of it behind the scenes, always flash manually through cwm, all you have to do is wipe the cache, user data, and dalvik cache, then install the ROM and reboot.

on the evo 3d I can screen shot by holding power button and pressing home fwiw
Is anyone having problems with their navigation? I have the Droid Incredible and it’s telling me it can not find the route to my location.
UPDATE: The guy at Verizon today said that this is just a problem with the Buffalo area. Go anywhere else and you will have GPS coverage again. Too bad the guy last night made me reset my phone…
We went to Verizon today because my X and the fiance’s Incredible 2 are just searching for GPS. The lady at Verizon said something is wrong with there systems due too “Sun Rays” I laughed but she seemed dead serious. She also said it affecting garmin and tom tom. So right when we left I had to try our garmin and it works fine. Don’t know what to believe right now just want my damn navigation on my phone to work.
My HTC Thunderbolt thinks im in fucking Gazost, and Laluega, where ever the fuck either of those places are.
must be something up there my X’s nav works fine
