How accurate is GPS on the curve? I was playing with my wife’s yesterday, but only holding it by the window because it’s damn cold outside. Google maps was accurate within 2.4 kilometers. Does it get better?

thanks for the report on BB’s. it sounds like the curve will likely be what i eventually go for, especially considering all the bells and whistles like gps and media etc aren’t necessary for me.
ill try and read some reviews and figure out if sprint or vzn is better for me, and try and determine which of the curve revisions is also best :tup:

Yea bro, they unlocked the gps with a new software update. it only works with BBmaps for now, but its fuckin sweet. accurate within a few feet, driving directions, etc, etc.
mos def. there are others out there as well, but any time i have any questions, those guys and gals over on CB have helped out greatly.
Crackberry is the source for updates, news, user / consumer questions and issues.
Blackberry forums I find is a lot better for enterprise questions.

What do i use to back up my numbers? Im gonna go trade my 8830 in for a 8330 and I don’t feel like waiting to have them do it if I can do it myself easy enough.
use desktop manager, it should even move your 3rd party apps and settings over.
