Is there any place local to pickup Heady Topper?

Stores in and around Waterbury, VT.

They are not licensed to sell out of the state of Vermont. It gets shipped to stores and bars once per week and there is a 1 flat maximum per customer. They had to start doing that because when they sold from the brewery there was a (literal) mile long line of cars down the road and people were buying 10 flats at a time, pedestrian or restaurant.

enjoyed one of these over the weekend…

I chugged a Pliny sometime last week, delicious.

Had two Buffalo Tap Room Double IPAs last night for my birthday and finished the night with a Stone IPA

Happy Bday and good beer choices!

Beer is good

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

My dad gave me some beer he got for Xmas and didn’t want. I’ll bring it over

I have been loving the Southern Tier pack from Christmas. 12 bottles: 4 2XIPA, 4 GEMINI, and 4 UNEARTHLY

Yum

I still think Stone is overrated but don’t tell the Coles crowd that.

Wow. Those look tasty…

I picked up some Founders Dirty Bastard, Great Lakes Brewing Edmund Fitzgerald, and GLB Christmas Ale for the holidays. Also found time to enjoy some Dogfishhead 90min IPA. . . so good.

Ballast Grapefruit Sculpin, Evil Twin Molotov Lite, and Elysian Space Dust have been my favorite hoppy beers lately.

Had some more Sculpin last night. I didn’t know there was a Molotov lite? I bet that is pretty good.

My latest favorite is Long Trail Limbo IPA.

Had one two nights ago, very delicious.

I arrogant bastarded myself silly the other night.

I hope this stays in production when it’s warm out. This is a fantastic beer.

on tap locally

I’ll be in San Diego where a lot of these are made in a week  They taste so much better fresh on the west coast. By the time they make it over here sometimes they’re funky. I hate IPA’s in general but I do like Sculpin.

space dust is pretty damn good, just had that the other night

it is a beer you need to try once in your life if you love hoppy beers, i made two trips to VT last year to get heady lol

Yes, I was talking to my brother who has had it a few times…he said the same thing, definitely a must try.
I’ve heard the same thing about Pliny as well, is that the same case too? Not able to buy locally anywhere…

Pliny bottles are tough to source outside of CA and Heady is only sold in a handful of places in VT.
