Polished off a 4 pack of these last weekend:
Really good stuff. Similar to Bourbon County Stout. Not as good, but I could actually find it which made it better. 
I walked in to Consumers on a recommendation to try that but went with the Dirty Bastard again. I’m a creature of habit…
I love backwoods bastard but they’re both good beers. If you guys haven’t had Founders Black Rye I would give it a shot. They re-released it and it’s available at Wegmans (Where I bought it). tasty. Also, I agree with Woodchuck Private Reserve being the best hard anything ever.

I’ve been trying to find Dogfish Bitch’s Brew. We had it at their Brewpub in September, but I can’t seem to find any retailers with 750mls locally.

Just returned from Stowe, Vermont where I had a ton load of Heady Topper and Switchback Ale. This HT beer is so crazy. You cannot even buy a 4 pack (limited 1/person) unless you arrived on delivery day to wait in line… “Apparently,” the guy at the local package store sold out in 1 hour to a line 250 strong. These site are pretty crazy too… http://www.headyspotter.com/ …Anyway, we were able to have plenty at the Sunset Grille, down the road from our b&b. http://www.sunsetgrillevt.com/ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BEER!!!
As for the Switchback, a case of 12 came home with me 
Yeah the Heady craze is huge. There’s a handful of people in the Buffalo area who make runs to Vermont quite often, yes they are that nuts about beer. For me, I just sit back and throw them some cash, makes getting it here quite easy:)
edit: and the selling-out-the-day-of is a very common occurrence.

I guess I will bite and try this beer from VT. Hope it isn’t another Stone which was good but I think was hyped a bit too much IMO.
