Official Reviews of Tokyo Drift*caution:read after watching*

haha same, that thing was pimpage

I only really wanted the Chaser :dunno:
I look forward to when they start importing them.

i had these little jamaican kids with their dad behind me. They were like I’m gonna make my car like that one!! The oldest was prolly 8 lol. “Their dad was like thats why you never do that.”

lol, when i went to see it the hockey game was on, so there was about a total of 20 people in the theatre. im not joking there was nobody there.

whos he i still dont comprend… w/e
yea as for the s15, the one that he raced in the parking lot had a sr20de… not a rb26

haha, that is the same one they pulled the 2.6 out or right?

i just read it. thats kind of dumb, but i guess they never talked about the engine when he raced the car in the first place.

http://cars.ign.com/articles/713/713047p1.html[/quote] Meh, so I guess they used the sound of the RB then lol, I was just reffering to what Isaw in the flick, you’re right. “He” is the main character.

he was 17 in the movie… they couldnt try him as an adult in court or sumthing

I know he was, and so did the other guy, he was making fun of him…you know a joke… like saying High School was the best 6 years of my life kind of thing

Screw that noise… the soundtrack IN the movie was by far the best of the 3 movies… first too was a total wigger rice out rap fest… unless you were 15 and into civics and 50cent. the first two made your stomach turn… at least the movie soundtrack in this one was somewhat forward thinking and original. Thi soundtrack ranks as one of my favorites along, right up there with ‘The Saint’ & ‘Hackers’…

Finally saw the movie tonight.

the Mila girl or w/e (the “main female character”) was fugly.
The Japanese mechanic girl was FTW. As were a lot of the other Japanese girls in teh school and some of the ones in the “meets” and on the streets and stuff too.

All those sluts were pretty fugly.

As for the cars, I thought pretty much all of them were nice, excluding Bow-wow’s ricemobile.

All the guest appearances made the movie a lot better too.

As for the movie itself, I’d have to say that it beat the shit out of the other two combined without a doubt. I’d see it again for sure. I’m really glad that they showed that drifting is dangerous and tried to discourage the kids from trying it themselves.

Uh… I had more to say but i’m pretty tired and forgot by now.

Saw it tonight. It was better then the first 2 IMO. Loved the S15 and the EVO aswell (big rally fan).

The 350Zs were alright (tried gettin one on the cheap 2 years ago at a US insurance company seizure/settlement auction. the car sold for 1000 more then i had and could spend at the time :frowning: )

I went into the theater not expecting much from the movie i was like “shit bow wow is in it, this is gonna suck” but he wasnt that bad and he got his ass kicked which was a plus

The pace of the movie was pretty good, as someone mentiontioned the rooftop soccer field scene was amazing.

The east meets west Engine swap near the end was pretty amusing.

The girls were hot.

And ending with Vin diesel was awesome.

In fact, there was so much power on tap that evem the drag slicks fitted to the car for the test spun without getting much traction. So while those performance figures are solid, they couldn’t match the Skyline-powered Mustang that had enough torque, but not so much as to overwhelm the tires. Beyond that, the dent-free version of the 1967 Ford Mustang blew its fuel pump and was unable to make a complete quarter-mile pass.

So in this case at least, for once the six-cylinder Mustang was quicker than the V8-powered version.

from that article…

now if they had installed one of them crazy japaneseses rb’s with 1200hp on tap that run 10’s… now that would have been scary… you’d need the whole awd system to keep the back end behind the front end

I saw the movie about a week ago. It was great, i loved it. Definitely betetr than the other 2, nto plot-wise…but action/cars/girls wise. The cars i was saddened because they were all tuning house’s cars, none of the real street machines from japan. I saw the signal R34 in ti in the beginning montage, and yea im like wow that thign is AWESOME. bow wow was not annoying, and yea he got the shit kicked out fo him which i foudn awesoem, the mian character’s voice drove me insane…who would cast him (Still better than paul Walker’s awkward mono-tone IMO). Ummm, i dont rememebr too many detaisl from the night as i was…a lil out of it i suppsoe would be the right phrase lol. But yea my personal fav car in there (seeing how there were like 3 240’s in it (one ebing a pretty cool sil-eighty) was Haun’s rx7 turned MR@ if i rememebr correctly it had the wide body kit and conversion head lights and tail lights from an mr2/mrs. Overall a definite see-again ,and i cant wait to buy it.

that was the veilside fortune widebody fd… no it wasnt a mid engine… no it did not have head n tail lights from mr2 or mrs… which are two different cars anyway get ur shit straight

oo really…wow yea liek i said i was not in the right frame of mind when i watched it, and all i ahve left are fragments of the movie in my memory lol.
And yes i know they are 2 different cars, i was referring to the MRS…not the MR2…
