chris, bing, bobby, and myself all saw the movie last night.
I enjoyed it for all the same reasons sasha did. I like how they clearly show he is not a ricer right at the begining of the movie. I think the plot was great. I also loved how they threw vin deisel in the movie at the end just to make fun of the first f&f.
first two were a thunbs down. this one was a one thunb up

i don’t really know what to say about the movie.
it was fun.
everything was super exaggerated.
sweet cars.
terrifying acting.
wicked driving.
Yaks and dangerous driving were kinda glorified.
funny cameos (kei, vin, rhys, the older brother from Home Improvement)
you get the point.
It had its moments, the best part was the warning after the film discouraging drifting.
I’m glad at least two other people didn’t like the movie either… But if I was 23 and not done highschool either I would be upset and race Tim (“The Tool Man”) Taylors son too… He must have had only an RB20 in it to have lost that race…
If you only go and look at the cars and Ms. Square then you’ll probably like it… I expected too much.
Soundtrack… The first two tracks… ‘Teriyaki Boyz - Tokyo Drift’ and ‘DJ Shadow feat. Mos Def - Six Days’ are decent as well as the don omar at the end…

I thought it was alright, exactly what i expected. nice cars shity acting and crazy driving. my dad said he read in a magazine that the mustang you see drifting didnt acctually have the RB26 in it, they put a big block V8 in the drift car. not sure though anyone know?

Thats interesting, about the v-8. When it was drifting you could see the J-spec catback lookin exhaust. Maybee just for looks? Anyways at first I thought that s15 had the usual sr but when I heard it racing I though well that sounds like an RB26, but they probably just put the sound in. When they popped the hood at the end, I was like, “oh so it did have an RB.” True story meng!

Well said, i had 5 Asian kids behind me thats would not shut up! everytime a girl or a hot car came onto the screen they were all “oohhhhh” and “ddaaaaamnn”
If funny cause i didn’t see them come in and i had no idea how big they were, until after the movie ended and they walked out ahead of us and i think there total combined height was 6’7" hhahaha
