Yeah I’ve been keeping an eye on the water temps and haven’t been impressed. But it’s not that far behind, we were only at 60 by this day last year.
Haven’t had my boat out much yet either. I get bored with fishing pretty quickly and mostly enjoy the boat for wakeboarding, tubing and snorkeling. Not doing any of those until the water gets warmer.
I intend to be at Gallagher beach on Wednesday. At the very least I’m going to roll my ski onto the beach in the shallow area and so some testing.
I’ve been out sailing a few times and it’s been fun. We setup a topping lift swing that was similar to this, water was still chilly though:

Sold it and bought a boat. It ended up being just a little more that the ski I wanted and figured I would get more use out of it… Really happy with the decision

What are the specs on the boat? That’s moving pretty good.
Water was Perfect yesterday. Got my ski up to 62 on the GPS.
As far as I know, its an all original 454 Mag Mercruiser. Its the beefy one with forged internals rated @ 365 hp, paired up with a Bravo 1 drive. Right now I run a 23 pitch Mirage Plus prop @ 4800-4900 rpm, but may trade my old 25P Mirage for a 23P Mirage that has been labbed to get some more rpm and maybe 1-2 more mph.
The hull is a 24’ 1989 Python Vector. Its the same molds as Pantera, Excalibur, Super Boat, etc.
