«OFFICIAL» Watercraft / Jet Ski / PWC Thread + Boats

Going to be stuck in dry dock (my garage) until Thursday since my wife is going out of town and had to take the SUV to haul her family around. :frowning:

UHaul -> Rent a truck -> Get on the water

Survey and sea trial done yesterday. Hope to bring it up next weekend.

^ Looks huge. What is it?

01 Sea Ray 380 Sundancer

beauty.

really nice. what power package does it have?

Twin 454MPI Horizons. 380hp ea. Inboard, V-drives

niiiiice. Inboard V-Drive for the win (I’m biased). Is the hull tunneled at all? What’s the draft?

Hard to tell from this pic, but yeah, tunneled. IIRC, it drafts 3’4"

 really nice setup

Holy crap man, that’s a lot of boat. Congrats!

That’s not going to fit in your pond.

Thanks man. We’ve been looking for a couple of months now. No expensive kids to get in the way

A little intimidating for sure, but holy crap, low speed handling is amazing with this thing, even without thrusters.

After this summer? Yeah, it would overlap

Damn jason thats quite a upgrade. I would be intimidated to navigate something that big.

Boat name change from “No Excuses” to “No Kids.”

I kinda like that. Just cross out excuses, add kids.

Changing the name… going to suffer the wrath of Neptune.

Though, this guy’s boat survived a few renamings…

I bet that’s like a 12 ft beam… Sharp looking boat! I love my sundancer, and would buy another one when I upgrade.

My dad had a 39’ Sea Ray with a flybridge (older '83). You get used to handling it. I drove it all the time, it’s not bad. Turns on a dime with dual inboards. In tight areas you don’t even touch the steering wheel.
