No worries.
We missed you tho.

There were wayyyyyy to many cars to take pics of and tons of stuff going on, but I took a few quick ones with my phone. Ian has some too but this was one of those “you had to be there” type events.

The kids yelling for burnouts were the best. On little kid yelled “do a burnout!” at this guy like 3 times and when he didn’t respond, gave him the double bird, lol. :2fingers:

We witnessed 1 accident on Woodward, ate some shitty food and ran from a raging homeless man who didn’t much like Ian’s camera, lol. Overall great weekend

A couple from the V meet. With a noon start and the rain the attendance was staggered.

The “Bullrun” V2 dyno’d at 600 WHP

Of course the New York Times has concerns that there is no heritage here, and it is merely another racist, exclusionary event.

Heh, that’s something I couldn’t disagree with more. I was talking with some of my friends this year about how the dream-cruise is a real ‘American’ event. It’s an event where black, white, rich, and poor all come together for one thing: The love of the automobile. Where else in a matter of minutes can you see a CarreraGT, a chevy silverado jacked up 15ft in the air, a caprice riding on 26"s, a 1980’s Camaro, and a regular minivan.

That’s probably one of my favorite things about the dreamcruise. It brings all these different groups together. I love cars in general and really like seeing not only the classics, but also the modern, the exotic and the down-right crazy. Yeah Detroit doesn’t participate in the dreamcruise officially but people still drive their cars all the way from downtown out to Pontiac. And obviously this author knows nothing about Pontiac. Pontiac has some places that are as bad as places in Detroit.

Yeah Pontiac was where all the good shit seemed to be happening. Some of the people along the side of the road looked sketchy as fuck, lol. And the streets out there had the most tire marks

If you’re a car fan, this is one event you need to go to at least once in your life.

i’m very sorry i missed it. I hate being a resonsible husband and parent.

Actually you were being an unreasonable husband and parent. This would have been a notch on your son’s belt. He needs to see this, and your wife would enjoying the vacation, especially all the nice restaurants you’d be taking her out to. Instead you stayed home, like a bump on a log. The unexciting lame husband overworking and leaving his family alone. You should be ashamed. Jk I have no idea about you lol. Just go next year it rocks socks.
