The best is to not get an 18x10 wheel period. Look at some of the pic threads and decide for yourself, but I think 18’s look atrocious on a 240. I don’t think 17’s are made up to 10", but you can prolly get 9 1/2" if you want the width.
I think people took the whole offset thing, and made it into assclownery. I wouldn’t run any offset higher than 9"+35 but I also wouldn’t go any lower than 9"+20 because you have to go through so much trouble, only to have “that drifter look”. I just love how people don’t realize that what they’re doing is just plain f*in ricey. They’re sittin around going like “ooh look at that flaming homosexual with the sunken battleship rims on that accord” Meanwhile, they have horrible camber, their car is impractically low, even for the track, and their tires are stretched to unsafe levels just so they look like JDM tyte drifters. Yea… way to not be a riceboy. :roll:

you can buy my 17x7 +38 or whatever the fug it is. i had to put in a 30mm spacer to flush that shit liek a toilet. No one says you have to go super low offset and have your shit scrape like a motha fuka to be cool. You just gotta do a bit of research and buy what works best for your app. I daily my s14 and the super flushness is perfect for the street. I don’t have to run super neg camber and fug my tires or anything.

Snuh, I lost my post by clicking back to check something. Anyway your car looks nice, but it’s pretty obvious from that pic that it’s not the “ultra flush” that this board is so obsessed with. From 7" +8 offset, if you were to go to 9" +25 which is what I think is the ideal offset, your wheels would stick out an extra 8 mm. It would be the same as if you had 7" 0 offset. If you went with something retarded like the 10" +12 your wheels would be almost a FULL INCH AND A HALF more outward than now, and you would guaranteedly need a roll, a pull and some neg camber to fit that all in.

This is why I’m saying people are dirty ricers. You think your car is super flush now, right? I would say your current offset is near ideal, but even though you think I’m promoting some high offset wheels, the wheel & offset combination I mentioned, is LOWER than what you have now. Furthermore, go grab a ruler, measure off 34mm, and go stick that at the end of your wheel, and tell me WHERE you’re gonna fit all that inside your fender, and then you’ll understand why I think people that try to do that are ricers.

I currently have 17x9+20 and I do have the space to clear 18x10+25.
